Reader experience:
TotalBeauty.com reader Carly, who has color-treated hair, did this treatment for the first time "three years ago" because her hair is "very curly and frizzy." The treatment took about an hour and a half and "there was NO smell at all. Mauricio [creator of the Brazilian Blowout treatment] used a fan and there was plenty of ventilation," she says. In addition she had no scalp irritation. She saw a "HUGE CHANGE" in her hair. Claiming it looked "smooth, shiny" and was "easy." She "would never live without it" and does it "religiously." The treatment lasts "about three to four months for me." She does claim you may "have less volume for the first few weeks after the treatment" but "after that, volume completely returns."
This treatment is currently available at the B2V Salon and the Chris McMillan Salon in Beverly Hills, Calif.
