The blue mascara in the first picture was slightly frightening. I dont know for sure but I think I will stick with black. Love the nail polish though!

The blue eyelashes are outlandish, but just tipping lashes with a great cobalt mascara or using a fine liner in the same shade are beautiful. With this hue, a little goes a long way. I love the nail polish shade, but I'd get a similar China Glaze color at Amazon for less than a dollar (not counting shipping and handling).

sorry, but peacock cpmes to mind for most of these products. and i think that blue or green mascara on the lower lashes looks horrible

I am obsessed with cobalt right now, but more so in my wardrobe than in my makeup case. Those Urban Decay false lashes are WILD and I may need to own the YSL nail polish from the last slide. What a gorgeous color!

A little blue eyeliner on the waterline can add a really fun pop of color without going overboard... the blue mascara on the model is a little too much for me! :)

I have a very blue based purple mascara (photographs closest to pantones \"blue 027\"). It def doesn\'t look dated, especially when paired with a wash of gold on the lids and / or black cat eye).

I first started wearing colbalt blue mascara by Covergirl in the 70's when I was in high school. It was my signature look intothe 90's when Covergirl sopped making it. Lancome was one of the only cmpanies for about 10 years therafter and they only had waterproof navy blue. Except it cost 30 bucks instead of 6 which is what I used to pay for many years.

I like all the blues, just nothing too dark. Blue mascara seems very dated.

This looks just like the old Midnight Blue Maybelline Mascara from the 60's. I wondered why they didn't bring it back when the colored mascaras were coming out. Maybe now they will! Was always a great dramatic look for party's!

love this color but for makeup? as the author noted, it's tricky to pull off - would have been so much more helpful if there were photos of models actually wearing the product.

This is one if not my favorite colors. The blue of today is not that awful blue of yesterday. I hesitated when I received a lighter blue and if you work with other colors, it can be carried off by anyone. I love colored mascara, but don't think false eyelashes are for me. Maybe, someone younger.
