To celebrate Mother's Day, we're saluting the celebs whose "mom cuts" wowed us -- and showing you the ones that made us cringe. See which styles you'll want to copy -- and the ones to tell your stylist not to give you
Worst: Kris Jenner While Kris Jenner's klan of reality star daughters may have perfect, extension-filled hair, Kris has stayed loyal to her boyish, bang-heavy cut for decades. Even though it's not a bad cut, Riggio says, "Kris' bulky bangs would never look pretty unless they're blown out." So when requesting face-framing bangs, make sure to ask your stylist for a style that won't require daily fussing.
Kate Gosselin and Sharon Osbourne's hair styles are awful. But I do have to give cred. for their boldness to be different. most best styles are pretty safe.
It is kind of mean to compare ladies who are in their 20's early 30's and women who are in their 60's. The first will look younger haircut or not. I don't think Hillary has that bad of a hairstyle here, her longer do ages her much more.
Michelle Obama needs some bangs to cover up her LARGE forehead. Plus she has too many beads on her hairline. I don't see how this cut has been an inspiration for women across the globe. Not in my book! Homely.
I do not care for Jessica Alba's hair in the featured pic. I do like one of your "worst" pics ... Katherine Heigl. If she had a bit more volume on the left side, and it was a bit neater, it would be even better.
When a woman reaches a certain age her hair is the first aspect in her life that becomes noticeable in her appearance. A woman hair doesn't have to be short so she can look younger. The maintenance and composure of the hair's texture can make a woman appear younger and vibrant besides attitude as well.

I think once you hit a certain age, a short hair cut makes you look younger. Kris Jenner's isn't bad at all. they make the comment that if it's not blown out the bang will be a mess...she doesn't seem like the type to go out without being done up. Plus her kids are grown, she has all the time in the world to fuss with her hair.
I had very short hair once and never again. Some people liked it and it was the first time I got called mam at 21. For it to look really nice, it took a lot of styling and stiff products. Certain people can carry it.
I think that it's not because you became a mum that you definitively have to try a wise haircut... it's more about aging and finding what fits you the best !
Since you are doing the"rite of passage" on mothers, how about the rite of passage on fathers - guts and balding. Women are expected to look like models forever and men can look like whatever they want to look like.
I actually think Kris Jenner's look flatters her! I can't imagine her with another hairstyle. It is a part of her brand at this point. Plus, it looks nice! The others, I tend to agree with. Katherine Heigl's could use some work, but again, that's become a part of who she is. She tends to gravitate towards the 1940's and 1950's looks. It suits her.
