The Worst: No. 3: TIGI Bed Head Tourmaline Nano-Ceramic Styling Iron 1", $31.99

TotalBeauty.com average reader rating: 6*
Why: One reader describes this as "nothing special … just your run of the mill curling iron." Others have even less enthusiastic endorsements: "[It] makes my hair dry … plus the handle and the whole rest of the machine gets just as hot as the barrel." "I experimented with various heat settings … but the results were always the same: a limp curl that lost its shape within minutes." One reader even claims, "It broke after three uses!"

I really like my Conair Infiniti Curling Iron. My curls last all day and even the next morning when I wake up! I need to get another one with a larger barrel.

For me the best one it's the Karmin Salon Pro Clipless Tourmaline Curling Iron cause it has faster heat-up time and the curls are always amazing!

I used the Revlon 3-pc. styling kit and it works great. A must buy. Curls last a long time.
