Best Color Protecting Conditioners
Want your hair color to last longer than your last relationship did? Use these top-rated hair care products
No. 11: Biolage Colorcarethérapie Color Care Conditioner, $22
TotalBeauty.com average reader rating: 8.4*
Why: "Hate the "straw-like feel" of damaged, color-treated hair? One reader says this left her hair "silky and full of body," and another reader said it kept her hair color "vibrant." Unlike other heavy duty conditioners, this one "did not weigh my hair down," says another reader. Instead, "it is gentle on [her] hair" and leaves it "very silky and easy to comb." "My color has done really well," says another reader. "It also has a wonderful smell and makes my hair so soft."

Aveda makes great color enhancing haircare. The Pureology one listed here is the only one worth trying.
