Day -1

"Before I begin, here's a 'before' picture, just for some perspective. In it, I'm wearing a full face of makeup, from foundation to lip stain, and have my just-washed hair pulled back into a bun. This is what I normally look like."

I was sorta FORCED into doing something like this since I'm unemployed :( I wish my face would self-regulate, I don't remember having such painful zits. I don't think I'd be able to go sans deodorant, EVER. You brave brave girl :)

Wow that is impressive! I've been slowly cutting back on makeup products to go more natural. This was very amazing of you to do!

Did you not brush your teeth for the 30 days either? I don't consider beauty products vs skin care and hygiene products to be the same thing. I can go without makeup and be perfectly fine, no problem at all. (Other people might think i have a problem, but who really cares what they think anyway?) But keeping your skin clean and moisturized is a matter of health. Dry skin = cracked and damaged skin = pain and other complications.

I could live without some products but for the most part, I could not go without anything for more than a few days much less a month.

I used to not wear makeup but then I started working in the fashion industry where make-up is seemingly as required as pants. She looked great without make-up once her skin adjusted! I want to go back to au naturel :-( I would save a fortune!
