7 Hairstyles You Can Do in 10 Minutes Flat
We challenged one woman to try a new hairstyle every day for an entire week. The catch? She had to do each in 10 minutes or less. Steal her ideas now.
Day 7: Faux sho'
Am I getting the hang of this or what? As you can tell, I'm starting to get a little cocky in my hairstyling ability at this point, so I decide to try a look I've seen on countless celebs (Leighton Meester, Rosario Dawson, and Taylor Swift are big fans): the faux bob. Luckily, I recently had layers cut into my naturally curly hair so I'm a shoe-in for this look.Step 1: I start by grabbing a handful of bobby pins and some hairspray.
Step 2: Then I pick up small sections of hair and pin them at mid-hair length underneath my top layer of hair. I repeat this all over my head until my hair is just under my chin and even all the way around.
Step 3: To get my bangs out of the way, I put them up in a roll and secure with a bobby pin.
Step 4: I finish by misting all over with a strong-hold hairspray.
So my dare has come to an end, and honestly, I loved every minute of it. I learned that it's OK to take risks -- in fact, it's better than OK -- because it almost always results in tons of compliments (and who doesn't love those?).
