Battle Shine with Blotting Papers Winter months leave your skin dry and flaky, but just because spring is here doesn't mean your skin issues are gone. Your face gets oily and greasy faster during warmer months, and this clogs pores and leads to breakouts.
You can start to combat shine by prepping your skin with a mattifying lotion and using oil-free moisturizers, sunscreen, and foundation. But of course, even those efforts don't always leave you looking matte all day. To fight mid-day greasiness, use a pack of oil blotting papers. Simply blot onto your face (rather than wiping, which will remove your makeup along with the oil) and then toss the used paper. It's a better option than powder, which can mix with sweat to clog pores and give your face a cake-y appearance.
Excellent tips. Certain Dri Antiperspirant/Deodorant suggests that you always use it at night. It is wondrous--it goes on as a clear liquid and leaves no white marks on clothing. And it will keep odor and wetness away for a surprisingly long time!
