The pluses of this stuff are that it smells amazing, a little goes a long way and it adds a lot of texture and some good hold to hair. The negatives are that it is easy to go overboard and end up with sticky, greasy hair, it is a bit pricey, the holding power isn't that great, and it doesn't leave your hair touchable. I prefer using it when I have super short hair, but lately when I get short hair cuts I haven't been reaching for Manipulator. This is a bit difficult to use at first, but you will get the hang of it. Be careful not to use too much, and warm it between your palms before applying sparingly. This has a strong coconut smell and gives my hair definition without making it crunchy like hair spray or slick like with gel. I have a layered, edgy cut and this is the perfect pomade to give my hair its finishing touch. Tigi's Bed Head Manipulator is the only product that really keeps my thick wavy hair in place. You only need a little-use too much at a time and it gets too gunky-but if you rub it into your hands well and then rub it into your hair you can do anything with it.
