hurts so good
for me, this works just like the commercial. its so nasty. i dont even look dirty and they find junk to rip outta my face, nose, chin, forehead, where-ever! the strips a huge too, they overlap my nose and well onto my cheeks beside my nose, whole forehead or chin. the only thing is it hurts so much to remove it! i cant help but cry a little EVERY TIME! lol! but its worth it. the strip will look like a nasty porcupine when im done, and i think it rips all the hair off my face too, but thats ok i guess! — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 12 people said helpful

Surprised by the low reviews!
This is a good product. I would even say ingenious. However, I think that it is often used incorrectly. For example, it should not be used weekly for an infinite amount of time - this can cause broken capillaries in the nostril area (see box) and can actually cause more blackheads. What this product is excellent for to initially clean out your pores than use another product to keep them clean! For me, I use the strips as needed along with a 15% glycolic acid moisturizer at night. This is what finally kept the blackheads away. I have struggled with blackheads for almost twenty years and tried a variety of things; everything seemed to dry out my skin and cause flakiness and irritation. It also sometimes created more oil. After trying toners, exfoliators, Retin-A and oodles more products, the glycolic ended up working the best. Make sure the strip is wet enough before pulling; otherwise nothing will come out. The water acts like cement, bonding to the blackhead and allowing it to come out. All in all, this is a great product! Give it a try. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

A tale of two noses
My boyfriend has huge pores that are always plugged. I'm fascinated by all the gunk these strips pull out of his nose. They're so effective on him that leave big empty "holes" behind. On the other hand, I have tiny blackheads all over my nose, and these strips only pull two or three out, if any. Plus it hurts, leaves my nose cherry red, and makes my skin flake. It also leaves behind a residue that has to be scraped off. — 4 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

ow.
When I used this years ago it totally rips skin off and makes it peel. I would not use this again because when you're trying to solve one problem you're creating another. Just exfoliate real well. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful

Don't care if it helps, it's just fun!
It sounds really gross but i love ripping these things off my nose and seeing how much it took out! i always swipe with toner afterwards to sorta disinfect the now open pores. It's fun to break these out on a girls night and see who gets the most. EWWW! but soooo fun! — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

More fun than useful.
I love using these pore strips and have been using them on and off for years. They do do a little bit for me, but not much in terms of the more stubborn blackheads I get. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure that they're worth it in terms of price, but I always get them on sale and it's just so much fun to peel it off and see how much dirt and whatever else has accumulated in my pores. — 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful

Good Product
I use one of these pore strips every Friday night and I am well pleased with them. Though I have never had a problem with blackheads, these do clean out my pores and keep blackheads from forming. May not be good for sensitive skin because they do have good adhesive and can "pull" at skin when removing. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

a must in my skin care
I have blackheads pretty bad in my T-zone. These get out most of them in my nose and on my forehead. They're not so great on my chin for some reason, though. — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not perfect
I find these to work well at removing blackheads, they don't disappear for long, and it doesn't get rid of all of them. Kind of fun anyways. — 5 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

These don't work
I've tried these many times, hoping to see the awesome results that some people say they've had (A strip that looks like a porcupine? Sounds cool to me!) Alas, every time I remove the thing from my nose - sometimes painfully, I must add - nothing. I can see that I do have blackheads there. This thing just doesn't grab them. However, I have subjected my dad and boyfriend to these strips with AMAZING results on the strip (Perhaps they work best on giant man-pores?). BUT...they both claim that they are left with visible "holes" in their skin and tend to wind up with zits - not just blackheads - after using them. So what are these supposed to be good for, if they CAUSE breakouts? — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful
