Why should nails get all the attention? Cuticles need pampering too, and this almond-scented oil is what the pros I've interviewed use to keep them looking hydrated, polished and smooth. Vitamin E and jojoba soften skin and rice bran oil and sweet almond oil penetrate nails to keep them strong, yet flexible. Sounds like a crock, I know, but with regular use my hangnails stopped and my hands look freshly manicured. Don't like to mess with oil? Try the solid.

I don't leave home without it

This has been a staple of mine for over 15 years. I buy the big refill bottle at a beauty supply store. I have one on my desk, one in each bathroom and several in my manicure set. I don't like that the threading on the teeny 1/8 oz bottle doesn't close tight. I've bought two of them and they both end up leaking in my handba... Fake A Fresh Manicure

    by girlwomanbeautybrainsblog (208 reviews)
Not only does this product soften your cuticles, but it's a great way to fake freshly manicured nails. Just apply a coat of Solar Oil and you will look like you just stepped out of the salon. I use this all the time. May 16, 2008, 7:00 am

    great for nails and skin

    by hspeers (3 reviews)
I am a manicurist in a 5 diamond spa and use most of creative nail design products. SolarOil is by far the best on the market. Its great for your cuticles and, if applied over acrylic, helps keep it durable. Also, rub a little in the palm of your dry hands- its good for dry skin! April 3, 2008, 7:00 pm

Pricey, but the best product on the market

    by FauxFlush (8 reviews)
I've been using SolarOil for several years, and it whips my nails into shape faster than any other product. When I'm routine about it and use this product at least once a day, I never get hang nails and my cuticles always look freshly groomed. The oil absorbs quickly and leaves a beautiful almond scent. Easy to use

    by Cathy_H (19 reviews)
This is easy to use, just put on your nails like polish and give a little massage in your cuticles. I was told to use it after taking my acrylic nails off. It made my nails less brittle. Smells really nice too! February 11, 2008, 6:45 am

    A Cure For Winter Hands

    by gorgeous1 (20 reviews)
Brush it on your nails and massage it into your cuticles every night and it makes those pesky hangnail's go bye-bye! For being an oil-based product it seems to soak right in too. This product has a sort of yummy cherry-almond fragrance that reminds me of the classic Jergens lotion. November 27, 2007, 6:24 pm

    SolarOil is a must have

    by Charity (3 reviews)
This has to be one of CND's best products out there. Not only should you use it daily to keep your cuticles and nails moisturized but it is also great for moisturizing other dry body parts such as your elbows. I never leave home without it. And...it also helps your manicure last longer...I swear! October 26, 2007, 7:38 am

    Wonderful stuff!

    by makemeovr (18 reviews)
I've been using this oil for about 10 years and so far haven't found anything better for keeping my cuticles smooth. After a manicure, it helps polish dry faster, and gives your nails a great shine. The brush makes it convenient to apply with no mess. Smells great too. August 21, 2008, 7:35 am

    Been using this for years....

    by Seaglassgirl (40 reviews)
I have been using this since 1990. Its something you only need a tiny drop to do all 10 of your nails. It will make your polish stay longer, your cuticles will stay clear and not hangnailish. Its wonderful on your toes as well. I put it on after foot lotion before bed, and my pedicure stays longer! Love it! August 19, 2008, 8:52 am

Do you have dy skin? Then you gotta try this!

    by MelissaV (10 reviews)
I have really dry skin and when I go to Vegas it looks like I haven't had a manicure in months. A quick sweep of Solar Oil and my manicure looks fresh! Great on lips too! August 6, 2008, 4:21 pm
