I use it right before getting out of the shower, after squeezing the excess water out of my hair. A little goes a long way, if you put too much of it in your hair, it will end up looking greasy. Also, most of the time I only put it on the bottom half of my hair and stay away from the roots. Not bad...but not great

Good product
This is good. It makes my hair shiny and sleek, but doesn't make it stiff like a hair gel would. The only thing is if you use it on hair that is slightly dirty (aka you washed it yesterday instead of today) it can make your hair look greasy. Follow the directions for good results
I have mid back length hair and this product works very well. It is important to use it on wet hair to avoid the greasies. A dime sized amount soothes my fly aways and gives excellent shine. This does leave my fine, straight hair with lots of shine, but beware. It can also leave your hair greasy if you use too much, especially if you have fine hair like me.
