Irritating, not hydrating

I received a sample of this shampoo when I made a purchase at my local Trade Secret. First of all, I must say that I do not have dry hair, but that doesn't seem to matter, because I didn't find this shampoo to be particularly hydrating. I'm not sure if I reacted to the sodium lauryl sulfate (vile stuff!) or one of the plant extracts, but I certainly would not buy this shampoo. Ingredients: water, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium chloride, cocamide mea, hexylene glycol, phenoxyethanol, fragrance, benzyl alcohol, methylparaben, propylparaben, citric acid, glycol distearate, guar hydoxypropyltrimonium chloride, tetrasodium EDTA, propylene glycol, polysorbate 20, algae extract, sage leaf extract, pollen extract, saponaria officinalis extract, wheat gern oil, cymbopogon schoenanthus extract, yellow 5.

not for me

I have fine hair, but it was damaged and dried out, this shampoo made my hair soo greasy!!

one excellent shampoo!

Lathers extremely well, doesn't strip hair of moisture (yet cleans well), and smells great!

The Best Ever

I used the Shampoo & Conditoner , I have tried all the big brands none of them work as well as on my hair . I will not use any other brand .. :)

Nothing Better

This is the best shampoo. Always leaves mine soft and shiny! Great for Colored hair too.

simple clean hair

i don't dye or chemically alter my hair in any way. i hardly ever use product except for hairspray. this shampoo, when used with it's partner, the detangler solution, is great. i just wash, rinse, detangle, rinse, and comb my hair. my hair is bouncy, shiny, and smooth, and while i might have a lot of grey, my hair looks clean and full of life. the only thing i sometimes miss is a little extra volume, but i don't like to use product, and am very lazy about styling, so it's my fault.

The Best

I will not be without this shampoo. A co-worker brought a bottle to me and told me to try it. My hair was dry and brittle from bleaching. this product has made such a difference. I LOVE IT!

This Stuff is Awesome!

My mom bought me this shampoo a year ago, because I had been complaining of dry lack luster hair from my constant hair dye abuse. I couldn't wait to try it, so I hopped in the shower about 3 hours earlier than I normally would. I lathered it in and let it set for a few minutes and rinsed it out and worked in some of my trusty conditioner. I blowed dryed my hair out of my total inability to be pati...read moreent, and found my hair silky and shiny! I was very impressed. My hair looked brand new, and I couldn't believe it. It replenished the much needed moisture my hair was struggling for, and kicked up its shine. I didn't expect it would last though, because usually the shampoo looses its effect after a few days use. But, this one proved me wrong. I love this product, because it saved my hair and it worked so good, that I am now using the Biolage product for normal hair (yes normal!!). I am grateful for Matrix and the many people that developed this shampoo. If you are currently suffering from the same problem I once had, then this is the miracle for you. Don't hesitate! The bottle lasts longer than you'd think too.
