Brush on as a base coat under mascara and you'll see why it's worth $22. Plain mascara must be exceptional to give a look this dramatic; used under most, this base would help even straight lashes hold dramatic curl. Bonus: The formula is moisturizing and lasts day into night but still washes off easily.

I believe that this mascara primer is the one of them, which started this trend. As soon as it became available in the US, I bought it. It helped to lengthen my lashes but also helped my mascara to hold longer. Ever since then, many more similar products have been introduced. I still like this Shiseido one, but I find that Clinique Lash Building Primer does a pretty good job with less money. — 2 years, 1 month ago
