Lives up to it's promises!
After just using it one time, my over processed, damaged hair looked soft, shiny and strong again and it made my hair more bouncy. got me back on track
leaving this in my hair overnight for 2 nights over the course of a week made my hair pretty again. my hair was terribly dry and poufy if i didnt flat iron it. i thought there was no hope, and planned on getting that Brazilian blowout until this stuff saved my head! the cream is nice and thick and you get a good amount of product for the money. the smell in the jar is very yummy and buttery, but i dont really like how it smells in my dried hair. this masque makes me excited to see what the rest of the neutrogena triple moisture line has to offer! — 3 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

It's good
This is a good product. It smells great, goes on easily, and there's plenty of it so you never feel bad if you want to use more. I guess I was expecting more dramatic results from using this product. It does make my hair smooth in the shower, never greasy after styling, but my hair still feels coarse and a bit unruly (for reference, I do have coarse, thick, combination straight/curly hair). Other drugstore deep conditioning treatments would give me silky hair I couldn't stop running my fingers through. This does almost as good of job, but not quite. I think I will return to my other brand, but I have no regrets in buying this product. one of my hair's best friends !
this stuff is truly amazing. i tried it on my hair for the first time last night and i was soo impressed with the results. i have relaxed hair, and i am 7 weeks post relaxer. i washed my hair with the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Shampoo, and then used the Deep Recovery Hair Mask. best recovery mask for long, dry hair!!
I've been using this same mask for about 3 years now. In the beginning of using it, I had hair that was almost down to my lower back. Curly, frizzy, and, very oftern, knotty hair. I liked having long pretty, curly hair, but whenever I brused it, it would damage it sooo badly! Then I got this mask and I LOVED my hair--for the first time in my life, a product that did wonders!! True, it would probably weigh down thin hair, and you shouldn't use it more than once or twice a week. But if your hair is curly, coarse, dry, damaged, or even just long and hard to take care of, invest in this jar!! Much better than spending triple the amount for a high end brand. :) *Tip: my great hair was also due to leaving this in for my whole shower, not just the 3 mins it reccomends. worked well.
I really liked this, it smells good and it worked good. I just have one suggestion, use it on the ends. It didn't necessarily make my roots greasy, but I read on the back of the bottle to concentrate mainly on ends, so I washed it out for about 10 minutes. but overall its great, but its just like a really good conditioner, not too much like a mask. Love it!
A great hair mask at a very affordable price. I've been looking for a great mask for my long tresses, and I think I've found a keeper. You do not need much at all, and this is large jar. They also recommend you use this mask once a week -- so this jar will last a while. The formula isn't so heavy, which is great for my fine hair. It was very moisturizing and left my hair soft and shiny & met my every expectation! Incredible results
I've always been a fan of Neutrogena. But when I tried this conditioning treatment I knew Neutrogena had completely outdone themselves! At almost 24 years old, I've been chemically treating my hair for half my life. I get it colored, I use blowdriers, flat irons, and curling irons, so the damage to my hair is pretty intense, and obviously noticeable. The first time I used the deep recovery mask, I heard angels singing above. My hair was soft, smooth, shiny, and much more manageable. Hello silky smooth locks, goodbye frizz and dryness! I can't believe at a price like this (and I got it discounted at Nordstrom Rack!) I am getting these results. Ladies, meet your new holy grail in hair recovery. The best!
This stuff is so great! I began using it last year because my hair was extremely dry from being outside all summer. This restored all the shine and moisture that my hair was in need of. I have long virgin hair that is oily, so I wash it on most days (which can really dry it out.) I use it 1-2 times a week and I've gone through several tubs. The only stuff that beats this for me is coconut oil, but that stuff is too much of a hassle to completely wash out. Dependable
Let me start out by saying that I love Neutrogena products. I have fine/regular hair that sucks up waxes and leaves residue like it is it's job. I have to be very careful what products I use so that my hair doesn't weigh down a ton. This is the only deep conditioner that I will touch. I use this once a week and every other day I use a cream rinse. This keeps my hair shiny, soft and moisturized the rest of the week.
