Beautiful packaging....

I was drawn to this because of the beautiful rose design of course. Such a unique and beautiful packaging. I give Milani A+ for the packaging. I got this as one of their limited colors and thankfully I got the last color of American Beauty Rose at Walgreens. Not that I was more drawn to this color but because my blush collection didn't have a color quite like this one where it's a coral mauvey col...read moreor with gold sparkles. This blush is not as pigmented as it looks in the pan but it is quite buildable. I love how blendable it is without looking splotchy and when I dip my brush in, it's not powdery with fallout everywhere. The best part: it's so hard to hit pan on this (look at the amount) and I barely made a dent in the rose design. It still looks like new. And I'm extremely impressed with the staying power on this for $10! The color was still on my cheeks at the end of the day. Highly recommend although I don't reach for this color often. I might go for other shades but I'm trying to stop myself from doing so since I own too many blush shades that look alike.

A Great Drugstore Matte Blush

I have dry skin, and I love glowy skin, so I normally am drawn to baked or shimmer blushes and not matte formulas. But, the limited edition display and the fancy embossed rose on the powder drew me in. I got Tea Rose, and let me tell you, when you feel it, it feels very nice, but it swatches horribly with your finger. I thought I was going to have to return it. It does not have that pigmented, smo...read moreoth swatch you get with Milani's Baked Blushes. But, when applied with a brush to the cheeks, this blush stands out: in fact, it is so pigmented that it is easy to go overboard. This isn't as blendable as the Baked Blushes, which is to be expected of mattes as they are drier. However, for a matte blush, this one doesn't look chalky on my dry skin. It is great for when you have super glittery eyes and you don't want distracting shimmer and shine in other parts of your face. I do think if you like matte blushes, one of these colors might be worth it for you. But, I still think the Baked Blushes are the best, and if you are between one of these and a Milani Baked Blush, go for the baked blush. But if you already have a lot of Milani's Baked Blushes, this may be a lovely addition to your collection to change up your blush routine.
