Not really good as a mask....
But I find it works better as a scrub. Be careful though! The exfoliants in this are super rough if you don't like that sort of thing so I suggest using this at least 2-3 times a week. Better than expected!
My skin tends to get dull & dry during the winter and I was looking for something to really make a difference and this did exactly that. I accidentally left it on a little longer than the directions, but the results were amazing. My skin feels velvety smooth, clean and polished. I feel that for a product to receive all its stars, it must really work well consistently. This is a warming scrub when you exfoliate your face and can be left on as a mask. I felt a lot of impurities disappear as my skin did feel like a baby's afterward. Its a different kind of a mask
This charcoal mask is a very different kind unlike the usual charcoal masks. This is a sugar scrub that also contains charcoal. It can be a little tricky to apply on your face but once applied, it sets on your face. Leave it on for about 15 mins and wash it off for best results. Not For Me
I wanted to like this stuff due to the inexpensive price, as well as the promises of the goodness of charcoal on the skin, but this stuff is not my cup of tea. It is extremely messy, as well as very harsh as a a scrub. As a mask it felt like it was burning my skin off. My face was red for hours. People with sensitive skin beware. Finally!
I live in Texas, since I do my skin is prone to heat, more heat and the occasional cold day in the winter. This leaves my face dry, and often times flake prone around certain areas. More of a scrub than a mask
Putting this product on is interesting because you have to pat it on rather than spreading. I followed the directions and left it on for the full 7 minutes and then scrubbed the sugar. It definitely warmed and left my sensitive skin a bit red, but it felt soft and polished afterwards. Glowing smooth skin
I wasn't keen on the application process but once it warmed and opened up my pores I really liked the feeling. I waited the six minutes like it stated and when I rubbed the sugar in my skin my skin felt so super smooth afterward. I bought another bottle the next day.
