Didn't Meet Expectations
I love MAC Studio Fix Fluid, but I heard this was a great alternative and that it provides great coverage. The price point was great as well as the color match and coverage. However, this product smelled horrible to me and did not go on as easily as expected. Perfect if you play by the Rules!
This is my all time favorite foundation. It lasts all day. They have so many shades and I found my exact color. Nobody suspects I'm wearing foundation. It is easily buildable without ending up cakey. It covers the redness in cystic acne without irritating it as much as other foundations. However there are a few must dues to achieve all the benefits I just mentioned. 1) You must use a sponge or yo...read moreu will end up oily by the end of the day. 2) DO NOT use powder, if you must I recommend Laura Mercier's translucent powder be applied about 2-5min after the liquid foundation is applied and not before or after or you will end up cakey or cracked. 3) Primer is not reccomended. Stinky!!
I was all set to buy this after reading all the great reviews. I found my color using the store testers and noticed an odd smell. The foundation smells like paint!! I love it !
This foundation is amazing. It stays on all day with out sliding or looking greasy. I've tried everything cover girl, neutrogena and elf has had. I wanted something affordable and that worked well. This is it ! I have combo/oily skin, but the normal/dry works just fine for me. I bought this as a recommendation and I am completely satisfied. It goes on smooth and doesn't feel like I have make up on. Revlon Colorstay
I have sensitive combination acne-prone skin. My T-zone is especially oily. I have tried expensive foundations & none would stay on all day, particularly on a hot humid summer day! The Revlon Colorstay and Maybelline SuperStay foundations don't irritate my skin, cause new breakouts, & give full natural coverage all day. I love this foundation, it is definately full coverage and doesn't look cakey. I mix it with lotion when I apply it and it gives medium coverage and keeps my dry skin in control. This foundation works wonders. With one layer, it already has heavy coverage but it doesn't feel like it. I have a lot of redness and scarring and this foundation conceals it after just one layer I use two layers for a flawless look. It lasts about 12 hours for me with touch ups and I have extremely oily skin. It does transfer but only when I wipe my mouth or something which doesn't bother me at all. great coverage!
