Chalky.....
I got this in the coral color and the color payoff was not what I was hoping. The color was very chalky (almost like Pepto Bismo). I was hoping for more of a sheer color but unfortunately I didn't get it. Also the product is very drying as soon as I put it on. I had to put gloss on top and my friend commented that my lips look chalky too. It didn't look good. Eeeeks! I got this in "L*st for blush" (I put a * in for the "u" because I was told I could not use that word in the review but that is the name of the color!). I have a few different pinks in some other different lip products but I was searching for like a soft natural medium kind of pink that would be perfect for an everydaay look and this color was definitely what I wanted. "Blush" is a perfect way to...read more describe this pink it is definitely like a blushy pink. It offers a hint of shine and moisturizes well. It feels light, not waxy or anything and the packaging is pretty with the cursive silver lettering. The only complaint I have is that it is not long lasting I definitely have to reapply a few times during the day, but I find that these types of lip products don't usually last long anyway so its not a real huge deal for me. I only got one because I wanted to see first how it felt and looked on my lips but I really love this color so I definitely will be trying out some of the other colors. My New Fav!
I am so surprised that this product has a average-low rating! The first tube I picked up was 'L*st for Blush' and I instantly fell in love. These lipstick do have a sheer finish, so if you are looking for a lipstick that will pack a lot of color, this isn't the product for you. Only problem for me is that it will last about 4-5 hrs. Its not a long lasting lipstick, which doesn't bother me, but overall, the look and feel of this product is amazing! doesn't last and leaves white residue
I really wanted to like this. I have a regular Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick that I love and rely on, so when the Whisper line came out for spring I tried the Blush (which is actually a cool, light rose). The color is very flattering and on-trend, and I like how light it feels on my lips, more like a like a lip balm than a lipstick. HOWEVER, it doesn't last long at all and has to be re-app...read morelied frequently. Also, when it wears off it often leaves behind a white residue around my lips. LOVE IT!!!
Maybelline Whisper Lip Color is great to have when ur trying to have color but don't want a bold lip more of a soft color. This product has it's pros and cons but not many. The one thing is you have to keep reapplying it because it wears off Fast. When you get this color it is fantastic to use it applies smooth and come in all soft colors. Love love love!
I absolutely love this product. I got mine in coral ambition, a beautiful soft orangey/pink color. The pros to this lip stick are that it goes on easily, lasts a long time on my lips and the color works for me. The only con I have to this product is the amount in the tube. The tube is long.. But there's literally an inch of lipstick inside.. And this lipstick was about eight dollars at my local Wa...read morelmart. I actually really like the light balminess of it; I love lipstick, but I hate too-dark too-cakey colors. Not Very Pleased ...
I love Maybelline products so as soon as I saw these at my local drugstore I just HAD to have one. Im usually pleased with Maybelline products but these just didn't really work for me. Definetly Like It
I bought this because of the attractive packaging. Thats really how it got my attention. I have this in a vivid coral color. I love how it feels, feels balm like, not sticky and or cakey as other lipsticks may be like. What I dont like is that it doesnt last very long. At least, not for me.
