Addicting smell

Great, but not the best!
I'm giving this antiperspirant a strong 8! It provides good enough protection in lower humidity, moisturizes the underarm area and has a soft fragrance that isn't overpowering at all. Where this antiperspirant lacks just a bit is in the amount of protection it offers. At around 15% it is much weaker than other options. This is NOT one of the best
I was highly surprised when I saw that this Dove underarm stick was number four on the list of best deodorants. I have been using Dove deodorants since I was 13 and it has always been the same: I put on the deo - stick, twenty minutes later i can feel wetness under my arms. Dove's formula does smell nice, especially the cucumber. But I have always been highly disappointed with results. It does se...read moreem to stop too much smell from happening, but seems to actually create MORE sweat then if I had nothing on. Also, IT IS TERRIBLE ON CLOTHES! It sticks to sweaters and t shirts. Especially when you put them on over your head, you end up with white streak marks on your side. Dove also uses aluminum as their anti antiperspirant. Aluminum is a horrible agent which in recent studies, contribute to getting Alzheimer disease. I can not believe that every review has been over a 8. "Aluminum has been long known to be neurotoxic, with mounting evidence that chronic exposure is a factor in many neurological diseases, including dementia, autism, and Parkinson's disease. However, definitive scientific proof is difficult to establish due toth the lack of longitudinal studies, as well as pushback from industries that use aluminum in their products. Despite the shortage of conclusive studies, mounting scientific evidence really leaves little room for doubt. Case in point: a new case study from Keele University in the UK1 unequivocally shows high levels of aluminum in the brain of an individual exposed to aluminum at work, who later died from Alzheimer's disease. While aluminum exposure has been implicated in Alzheimer's and a number of other neurological diseases, this case claims to be "the first direct link" between Alzheimer's disease and elevated brain aluminum following occupational exposure. The Aluminum-Alzheimer's Link The 66 year-old Caucasian man developed an aggressive form of early onset Alzheimer's disease after eight years of occupational exposure to aluminum dust, which scientists conclude "suggests a prominent role for the olfactory system and lungs in the accumulation of aluminum in the brain." This is not the first time high aluminum levels have been found in the tissues of someone who died from Alzheimer's disease. For example, in 2004, high aluminum levels were found in the tissues of a British woman who died of early-onset Alzheimer's. This was 16 years after an industrial accident dumped 20 metric tons of aluminum sulphate into her local drinking water. Dove Wins Again...To No Surprise
What a great deodorant. I've been a SECRET fan forever and I'm a classic powder smell kind of person but I got a mini sample of the cucumber deodorant and WOW. Great lasting power! Great smell! Very refreshing and doesn't really rub off on my clothes (I'm from NY and definitely wear black way too often). I was so impressed with this deodorant and I also found that it moisturized my underarms reall...read morey well and didn't stick so hard when trying to rub off in the shower (Secret leaves this weird dry feeling sometimes). I was very pleasantly surprised by this deodorant. My only gripe was that, like many deodorants if you leave the cap off it's dries out super easily and won't glide...this one dries out a little quicker. Also, due to the construction of the stick, it sort of fell out a lot quicker which was annoying. But the product is great. Cucumber is a fantastic scent for the summer and I'd stick with the powder invisible solid for winter. works great, smells nice
this product works really well as a deoderant and keeping sweat at bay. I like the way it smells too. it keeps me feeling fresh and I would buy it again. the scent isn't too strong so it won't clash with anything else you put on in terms of fragrance. Dove Advanced Care Cool Essentials Deodorant - Disappointment
This deodorant and antiperspirant is not what some make it out to be. The smell is delightful however, it doesn't last very long. Once I start sweating, I can almost immediately smell my underarm odor and have to reapply at least once. Great deodorant
This is a great product for people who don't sweat a lot or for people who use it in conjuction with a clinical strength product, like me. I'll use a stronger deodorant at night so it sinks in, and then freshen up with a lighter one like this in the morning to keep smelling good. I have a terribly bad funky armpit odour, like cockroach smell, so I need deodorant. however not just any deodorant, because I don't want it to clog up my skin or give me bad smell afterwards. I like it
