Luminous Clean Towelettes
I just bought these and for slightly over $4, they were a steal. They smell nice, and left my skin SO soft and smooth, which has never happened with any make-up removing wipe in history. My only problem with these is that, many hours after removing my make-up, as I was getting ready for bed, I found some make-up still on my face. I wasn't wearing a lot to begin with, and when you don't wear a lot you do expect the wipes to get all of it in one shot. I broke out the Clarisonic and eliminated the problem, which only took me a minute, but these immediately lost some points for not getting every bit off. The following morning there was some slight liner residue under my eyes which happens with even the best make-up removers, especially if you line the upper inner rims. Good Value
This is a pretty good value. They smell a bit strong but they remove makeup well. Sometimes, when Im too lazy to really wash my face, I use one or two of these. Afterwards, my face feels clean but not stripped. Best wipes ever!
I've used all kinds of wipes-- cheap and expensive, sensitive skin, anti aging, exfoliating, all natural-- but I've never been so impressed with a wipe. It doesn't dry out your skin, or leave it too moisturized, or leave a residue, or irritate my skin in any way. It just leaves my skin and (literally) baby soft. The gimmick is that kaolin clay used in the luminous products deep clean. That may be true, but I'm more impressed with the mica, which is a reflective mineral that leaves your skin beautifully radiant. When I first bought these, I never wanted to use cleanser because I loved the luminous, even toned look it gave me (then I bought the matching cleanser).
