A better BB
I am not a fan of BB's, but this one is worth taking a look at. It is fragrance free. The light-med. color was a good match for me-easy to blend. It looked natural and dewy. It had some dimension and evened out my skin tone. It did not irritate my reactive skin or cause acne, but it felt a bit heavy and waxy. It is more coverage than a tinted moisturizer and the price is right. — 5 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Good for A US BB Cream
This is probably the "best" out of the bad lot that makes up the new crop of american BB creams. It seems the US companies think BB cream = tinted moisturizer, but I digress. LOL This product checks many of the boxes that most would want in an "all in one" type of product, which is what BB creams really are. It has 5 different shades, a higher SPF (SPF 30), is oil free and seems to have some radiance boosting to it so skin doesn't look "flat". It evens out the skin but is sheer enough so that its natural looking on the skin. The shade "light" is fair enough for my uber pale skin, so far it hasn't irritated my sensitive skin or caused me any breakouts. Additionally, its pretty affordable. All of the above being said, this is not a true BB cream in the style of the Asian BB creams so if you're used to those, than stick to them. — 7 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 10 people said helpful

Pretty good but nothing exciting
I've pretty much decided that bb creams may not be my thing but this one was decent. It helps a bit and doesn't make the skin splotchy. — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 13 people said helpful

Not for combination skin
I bought this because it had a shade light enough for my very fair skin. I like the look this gives in that skin appears more even without looking make up at all. Great for everyday. It is also unscented. Unfortunately, this was not meant for my skin. In spite of powder and setting spray, my nose and the area between my eyebrows gets noticeably greasy while using this. Also, after trying to reintroduce it into my routine multiple times, there is no denying that this makes me break out. I would recommend it for dryer skin that is not sensitive. — 8 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

For the Price and quality Great!
Okay So I have the benefit of having know and used BB creams long before they hit the states. Now it seems to be the New FAD! Weird because Asian have been using this, for a Long time and it's not expensive for good quality. Since I have several brands from Korea that I use during the winter when my skin is back to being fair, I decided to try both Garnier and Maybelline. It was more expensive than my Korean brands, but they had more of a tint for summer time. Instead of my having to mix party BB cream/part tinted moisturizer. I wanted to skip a step. This was about $10 from target back in May '12, and I must say after Garnier's major disappointment, this proved to be worth the buy! It's not as thick and more on a water based liquid, but the very subtle tint and color was fantastic. It blended wonderfully with my tan and I was able to use it in Mexico for our trip. It smooths on great and is perfect for the spring and if you don't sweat too much, it's great for summer too. With all the other expensive BB bandwagon's this is a much better buy. Anyone who's familiar with BB creams and been using them for years, would/should know that BB creams were never ridiculously over priced and SHOULD not be! — 6 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 7 people said helpful

very sheer
I was excited to try this. I finally found a bb cream that matched my skin tone. i don't like how sheer it is but it does moisturize. I have to apply a powder over this though because it can make me look a little shiny. — 1 week, 3 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Pretty good
The first BB Cream I ever tried was the Garnier Fructis one. It was horrible, dark, and left my skin looking so shiny it appeared wet. I heard good things about this one, and it came in a shade light enough for my EXTREMELY fair skin, so I decided to give it a try. Despite the negative reviews this is getting, I actually really do like it! On the packaging it SAYS that it has a really sheer coverage, which it does. I'm really not looking for coverage in a BB cream, so this doesn't bother me at all. If you just apply concealer in areas such as around your eyes and on trouble areas, it makes your skin look really great. It does even out my skin tone a little bit and makes redness less noticeable. If you in general have pretty good skin and don't really need much to cover your zits, this would be a good fit for you. I personally have problem with redness (my skin is really cool toned in general and I'm extremely pale) and I've tried so many redness correctors! This works just as well as any I've tried, and I was surprised how much it canceled out red areas since the coverage is so sheer. It has absolutely no scent, which I'm pretty neutral about. I know for a fact that the Garnier BB cream has an extremely strong scent that lingers on your face for hours after you put it on, but this has nothing like that at all. I have combinatinon skin, so the most important thing I look for in a BB Cream is the fact that it moisturizes, but doesn't make my face look wet. Some people have been complaining about how it makes their face oily, but I get shiny in some areas very easily, and I haven't had problems with this. It definitely doesn't mattify my face, but it doesn't grease it up either. I like how it has a really high SPF value (30) but doesn't have the greasy feel of sunscreen. Overall, it's a really good BB Cream, and the fact that it's 8 dollars (Not 35 like most of the good ones) makes it even more worth it in my mind. I'd definitely repurchase this product. — 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 10 of 10 people said helpful

Maybelline New York Dream Fresh BB Cream
I purchased the light/medium shade from Walmart a few weeks ago, and I'm really happy with this product! It's light and goes on smoothly with a makeup wedge. I put this on right after I wash my face and it really shortens my morning routine. It contains vitamins and sunscreen, so I can skip my moisturizing step. I set it with a light dusting of powder and it lasts pretty well throughout the day. I have an oily t-zone, but this BB cream seems to last pretty well. I'm hoping that Maybelline will put out an oily skin version soon. This type works pretty well though! Definitely worth a try! I've noticed a significant difference in my skin tone and I've only been using it for a few weeks now. — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 21 of 24 people said helpful

Not the best
I did not like the color of it - it made my skin look darker (I tried the light/medium sheer tint)- an unusual/unnatural color. It did not do a great job making my skin look better compared to other grocery store bought BB creams. I can't recommend. — 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not so impressed
I am a fan of Maybelline in general, however NOT this product. I crazy busy schedule most days and thought that this would be a great quick all in one in the morning, maybe if I just sat around and didnt have such a busy life this would have stayed on longer, however most days that I wore this bb cream, it was completely gone my lunch. I quickly threw it away. I was so disappointed. — 1 month, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
