I bought this as a duo with conditioner. I have always liked Biolage products and was in the market for a moisturizing shampoo. I live in the high desert and my hair gets dry and crunchy in the wind and cold. This shampoo has a classic Biolage scent. It’s very subtle to me but it may stand out for someone else. It smells like salon shampoo. The conditioner barely has a smell at all. The shampoo is cleansing, lathers well, once is usually enough unless I’ve got some serious product buildup. It also feels quite hydrating, considering it’s a shampoo. It IS paraben free but NOT sulfate free, which doesn’t make a huge difference for me. My hair is difficult to manage and this shampoo doesn’t make it easier but it does make it healthier and gives it more shine.
