Although marketed as one step in a four-product regimen for silky straightness, this conditioner stands alone in softening difficult-to-straighten hair. The price tag is up there with salon products, but just a quarter-sized dollop can protect long, thick hair against humidity and make styling damage less evident. Plus, it's light enough to wash every other day without looking greasy.

    I expected more..

    This product always gets such rave reviews that I shelled out the money for the shampoo and conditioner- and immediately gave them to my niece after I first used them. I was disappointed... I expected my fine, dry hair to be soft and easier to manage- not true! I couldn't even comb my hair afterwards it felt so dry! After t...his disappointment, no more experiments for me unless I read the ingredients first... May 26, 2008, 2:04 pm

    I'm pretty happy using this smoothing conditioner. I like the more natural scent instead of strong perfume. It works fairly well to smooth, but I still use a detangler after using this conditioner. I will continue to use this conditioner unless I find another I like better through recommendation or use by my stylist. Yo...u will be CONTENT using this conditioner. November 12, 2007, 3:28 pm

    Great for over colored hair

    I think I started getting my hair highlighted in grade school when my grandmother decided I my blonde hair was getting darker. Needless to say my hair is over colored. I use this conditioner religiously and I love it! My hair stylist even gave it to me as a Christmas gift.     My hair is very thick and I've had long hair for many, many years. I have tried a zillion conditioners and this one is absolutely my favorite! It leaves my hair silky and easy to comb through and it smells wonderful too! May 28, 2008, 4:50 pm

    Nice product

    The conditioner has a pleasant smell. It is incredibly thick and rich. I can feel the difference in my hair after 2 minutes of letting it soak in. My hair feel and looks smooth, silky, and shiny. I really adore this product. It feels luxurious. February 19, 2008, 12:49 pm

    Not impressed...

    I went out and bought the four steps of this Sleek Matrix stuff and am not satisfied at all!! The conditioner feels really soft when I am in the shower and when I try and rinse it out it takes forever because it feels slimey... I have thick, long, dry hair and I believe the cheaper stuff works better. I paid $26 for my bo...ttle. What a rip! My ends even get really frizzy and my hair is always snarly...Will never buy it again. November 3, 2009, 1:53 pm

    Smooth and silky

    Matrix conditioner is gentle, and gives a refreshreshing look. most of the conditioner's leave my hair oily but matrix makes your hair look healthy and glossy. Also it has shea butter which gives your hair a wonderful refreshing smell.... I just love it... its worth 15$ but i no longer have to spend extra $$ on hair serums. April 30, 2009, 2:03 pm

    I used to use all 4 steps and my hair ways always fabulous looking, like i had just stepped out of a salon, smooth, sleek and shiny. Now i don't bother getting the shampoo, the conditioner alone works wonders to smooth, i love the light cream (the heavy cream is too much for my fine hair) and now i use the spray along with ...a straightening iron, Super smooth and fab ;) April 27, 2009, 12:15 pm
