Needs Improvement

These strips are hard to get out of the packaging without bending or tearing them and they stick to the inside of the package. They're fairly easy to put on (make sure all surfaces the strip touches are dry), but they do not dissolve completely, which is my main problem with the strips. No matter how long, they leave remnants in your teeth that must be picked up brushed out. It's gross. The taste ...read moreisn't the worst. Overall they aren't hugely effective, but I think with constant and prolonged use they will eliminate surface stains. Personally, I'd rather stick with the whitening gel and mouth guards I received from my dentist, although I know not everyone has money to have these made.

Not my favorite whitening product

I was so hopeful, then so unimpressed. They have a claim on the back of the package that they dissolve in 5-10 minutes with nothing to brush away. I didn't find that to be the case. I was left with an icky plasticky film on my teeth that absolutely needed to be brushed away. They are similar in makeup to those old breath strips that dissolve on your tongue. I made the mistake of not drying my hands thoroughly after brushing my teeth and washing my hands prior to trying these strips. My poor thumbs and lips got the bulk of the strips the first go round. I found them much more user-friendly when you make sure to keep your lips out of the way and your hands totally dry when applying! =) I think they whiten all right... but for the unpleasant taste, the delicate and detailed nature of application, and the residual filmy feeling... I would go with a traditional strip.

Works wonderfully

My husband has been an avid chewing tobacco user or 14 years. I am a coffee, tea & red wine drinker. I received these to test. Using once a day (not twice as the directions suggested) my husband has noticeably whiter teeth by day 3. I was completely clear of stains in the same amount of time and we still have plenty of strips left! I would imagine he will use the strips for another week to get rid of the stains completely. Highly recommend over expensive treatments.
