Aveeno Pure Renewal
After coloring my hair about a month and a half ago, it turned very dry. I started using this a few weeks ago and I feel its getting softer and healthier. I too use it along with the conditioner and i feel the combination is great. Great shampoo!
I’ve been using this shampoo along with its matching conditioner for about a week now, and I am in love with it. My hair tends to be very greasy by the end of the day, even if I don’t use any additional products on it…which means I am constantly fighting dandruff issues. I learned a long time ago I need to keep changing up my shampoos to avoid excess build-up…but lately I’ve started to have a hard time finding shampoos that don’t irritate my scalp and make it itchy. This shampoo does a great job cleansing my hair and removing build-up…I haven’t had a single flake since I started using this shampoo. It’s only been a week, but I do not think that it has overstripped or dried out my hair at all…it is very soft and manageable. Best of all is that it seems to be adding a bit of shine to it, too. Not the best.
This shampoo and conditioner was $6 a bottle, which was a bit too much for this. You don't get the amount of shampoo that you pay for, and it doesn't really make a difference. The bottle is one of the most gorgeous ever, but it was too small. Great shampoo
I received this product to review (along with the conditioner). I was a little skeptical since I've used sulfate shampoo in the past and found that after using it for a few days my hair felt heavy and oily. I didn't find that to be the case at all with the Aveeno. Great results on simple hair styles
This was a fantastic shampoo (which I used with the accompanying conditioner), it has a nice creamy, thick consistency and it lathered well on my long, colored treated hair. I also like the size of the bottle cause it didn't slip out of my hand like the bigger bottles do. I felt I got great results, maybe even better than a lot more expensive brands. I usually wash my hair every other day but found I could go an extra day w/o washing and had clean enough hair to change up my style every day like I do. The only reason it didn't get a 10 was because if you use style holding hairspray for your "do" along with other products we ladies pile on; it does take a second washing to remove all the residue. Loved It!
This is the first Aveeno product I have ever tried and I really liked it. It has a nice pleasing but light scent. I noticed after I used it a couple of times I started seeing a change. My hair had more body, more shine, kept my style longer but yet also made it softer! I would definitely buy this and put it at the top of my shampoo routine. Excellent shampoo and conditioner
Ive used both products for several weeks now. I love the scent, and i love that its sulfate free. I have highlights and now use all shampoos that are sulfate free. This makes a difference in having your color last, and i felt this combo was great at keeping my semi curly hair smooth, and it felt really healthy. Nice clarifying shampoo!
This was not my first Aveeno shampoo and it will not be my last! The bottle is easy to open in the shower and the flat top makes it great for getting the last of the product out of the bottle! The scent is gender neutral and smells very clean and fresh. pretty good
I have been using this shampoo for about 2 weeks now and although i like it, theres nothing extremely speical about it. It does have a pretty, light scent that reminds me of aloe, but I have not noticed any changes in my hair. Also, sulfates are an ingredient that help aid in getting shampoo's really foamy, so i was surprised that this 'sulfate free' shampoo foamed up a TON! Ive used sulfate free shampos from Lush and theyve never foamed up like that before, so I dont kow how true the sulfate free thing is.
