I used the *darkest brown* shade on my virgin blonde-brown hair. The Smell was very tolerable and it did not burn my scalp. My hair came out true to the color the box said it would, and was super soft and shiny:)) and after 3 weeks there was minimal change in the color, and my hair retained the softness and shine. Fried my hair
I used a dark brown shade of this dye to cover a few gray hairs and boost my color. Previously I had used a Loreal foam and loved it, and thought I would try this one. First, the chemical scent was so strong that my eyes burned - way worse than other brands. Then when I rinsed I lost a huge amount of hair. And once it dried, I could see that the color was flat and dull, and my hair felt extremely ...read moreweak and crispy. I've already deep-conditioned once, and am about to go out and buy some more deep conditioner. I hope my hair can recover from this! I would not recommend it at all. Pretty awesome stuff
I color my red hair different shades about every 4 weeks and have grays that need to be covered as well and I was a little worried that this stuff wouldn't hold up to the typical Garnier hair color... but it did!
