Greasy
I received this as one of my perks for the special month of scoring extra points. The concept is great...foundation and serum combined. I was excited to use it, but it sat on my face and left a terrible feeling of greasiness, and my face felt like I had too much make up on even though I used a small bit of product. It does not look good...does not create a flawless look. I simply could not stand the way it felt on my face. I tried it for several days, and ended up using blotting papers to absorb the grease it created. This is an inferior product, and I do not recommend it. — 9 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

Not Real Impressed and NO SPF
I am not very impressed with this product. It sounds good, in theory- a foundation with serum in it- but in reality, not so much. I had issues with it in the summer making my skin super greasy and because it doesn't have an SPF, I had to layer a moisturizer underneath which made it worse. It also comes off really easily. Also, after wearing it for several hours, it looked like it was separating on the surface of my skin...not pretty. So I shelved it unti the weather turned cooler, thinking it would be better, and now it makes my skin look dry even though it isn't. Also, when you set it with powder, even the Olay/CG powder, it looks chalky. The price is also really high for such a sub-par product. Won't repurchase. — 7 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

My first and LAST drugstore foundation!
Update: I woke up this morning and now have the same tiny pimples all over my chin and the left side of my face. Absolutely horrid. Come to find out this foundation is not nonacnegenic or noncomegenic. Revised review to a 1. Wish I could go lower! .................... 6/16 Wow - that is all I can say. Ok, review done. ;) I was ready to give this foundation about a 7 until I went into the bathroom this evening to cleanse my face and found something quite shocking. First, I have to say that this is my first drugstore foundation, at least since I "graduated" from Cover Girl Clean Make-Up about 15 years ago. Since then, I have been using various Clinique foundations, most recently Perfectly Real, and have been very pleased. However, I have been finding some stellar drugstore deals as of late and thought why not try to swap out my foundation? Initially, I was moderately pleased with this product. I read many mixed reviews online; some reviewers said it was far too greasy, others say it was too drying and still others commented on breakouts and that the foundation "slides" right off. It is weird how the comments are all over the place. Personally, I thought the texture was a little dry, yet it left my skin a little shinier than norm, and my face felt sticky. I also looked like I was wearing a "mask" which I am not used to at all. The foundation was around $12, exactly half the price of my Clinique foundation. To be honest, I would much rather spend $24 on a good quality foundation that can always be returned to the department store, regardless of how much is used, and the color can be matched EXACTLY by a professional. That seems like a bargain to me! When I went to wash my face tonight, after my first use of this foundation, I was horrified when I looked in the mirror. My skin is not acne prone; just oily and I am prone to blackheads. I had almost a dozen pimples on the right side of my face. Not just red spots, but pimples that actually already had a head on them! Ughhhh..... Seriously??? Never again. I am heading to the store tomorrow to return, and right over to my Clinique counter! Would not recommend. — 11 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 7 people said helpful

Not horrible, but won't repurchase
This is a very moisturizing foundation with some pros and even more cons. Pros: It covers my whole face in one pump, it's full coverage, it blends in well Cons: No sunscreen which means adding more moisture to my face before applying, minor breakouts, color would match my skin if it had more pink undertones - it makes me look sickly and pale without a lot of bronzer, It comes of easily with a little sweat, it's heavy and you feel it on all day. I would love to find a foundation that covers as well as this one does, but without all the cons. I have combination/sensitive fair skin. The lack of sunscreen it not good, and the even though the breakouts are minor and almost not noticeable, they are still breakouts. I may try this again in the winter and see how it fairs. This may work better on people with yellow undertones and who have dry skin. There are no real anti-aging benefits, just moisture. I can't really recommend it for oily or combination skin. — 8 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Not for dry skin
This product isn't terrible but it's definitely not for us women with dry skin. It made my skin feel dry and it caked on me. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

It's not going to sit around collecting dust
I saw the ads for this all over and was already interested, previous to receiving it as a BuzzAgent. I had the soft honey and a compact powder to match in medium which I will review also. The mix of Olay and Covergirl seems to work for me. I have combination skin which is sensitive, irritated, and dry on a portion of my face. I have used a few different types and brands including concealer and it proved problematic. I also, do not wear foundation on my entire face. I use it primarily to keep eye makeup on, or to cover the reddened, uneven skin which is dry and flaking at times. This is a pump container and you can see the swirled mix of the foundation and serum. I applied it with my fingers and liked the texture once on my skin: Not caked on and it smoothed in well to match my skin tone. It went over the lines between my brows and I did try it on other areas including my arm and hand. I did not use my usual green concealer underneath. The lines seemed to lessen in appearance, which is what serums are for and from a distance the color also hid them. I liked the control over the amount used, therefore no mess left and a feeling of lightness once applied. I used this for the Summer months to now early Fall, so my skin tone will be darker and less affected by the problems set on in Winter. I do suggest that in the wrinkled, lined areas that you use less powder, or none at all. I felt it had a better result being on my dry, sometimes bad skin without it. I did not react badly as to some others that I have tried on those sensitive area. I do not use it on my oily skin zone. They have a lot of choices for color, but nobody says you can't mix them to get your shade. As winter will approach and eczema will come back, I feel better about having something to combat the visual effects of it. Further reddened skin, more drying and itching, because of coverups was what I experienced. At least I now have something to work with. I gave it one star less, because of the missing trial period, and because I do not use it all over my face. But, it is worth a try especially since it is so available and prices can be reduced drastically with a good sale. — 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Best Foundation!
Normally, I don't like liquid/creamy foundations because they dull my skin. I read about this foundation in a magazine, and since I was wanting to try a new foundation (I was using Loreal True Match Powder, which is awesome!) I decided to go ahead and try this. I fell in love the first time I used it! It's very creamy, and decently moisturizing which works great for my combo skin. For me, it lasted all day when I used a setting powder (BareMinerals Mineral Viel). The coverage is just right, along with the color (I'm very fair, I got the lightest shade). It made my uneven skin look amazing! And left it so soft! Also, it smells great, which I don't look for in makeup, but hey! It smells good! I would reccomend it for dryier, to combo skin because it does have the Olay serum in it that does moisturize. Probably not for oily skin, it would most likely slide off. Wonderful product overall! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 14 of 16 people said helpful

Wow!
Covergirl might have hit the nail on the head this time! I have used this for a couple of days now and I really like it. My skin is very dry, I apply after moisturizing and get the light coverage I want. I have had a hard time finding the right shade with foundtions and finding something that wears well (in my case something that doesn't feel like I am wearing a mask.) I think I may have found what I have been looking for and affordable too! — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 18 of 20 people said helpful

thick and greasy
Product goes on very thick and is not easy to smooth out. It looks terrible when applied by finger. I tried using a professional quality makeup brush - that helped but you could still see brush strokes. It felt like wearing a mask. I have dry skin and this product somehow managed to make my skin look dry like a desert and yet still greasy. The only reason I rated this a 2 instead of a 1 is maybe it just is not a good product for dry skin, although I cannot imagine a skin type this product would agree with. — 2 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not all that great
When I first used this foundation I thought it was great, I love the pump on the bottle and the make-up goes on smoothly and blends nicely. The one thing I hate about this foundation is how easily it rubs off on everything! I was surprised when i put a shirt on or took one off because I would always find brown smudges near the neck despite how careful I was and this never happened as much with any other foundation I've used in the past. It's not like it happened only right after I put my makeup on, but also hours after i applied it. I was really dissapointed by this because the color was perfect and gave me an almost dewey finish. — 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful
