Pleasantly surprised....

I've never tried anything like this silicone looking stuff on top of my foundation before. Usually I head towards powder to set my foundation but sometimes they just don't do the trick for me. I have super huge pores and NOTHING seems to cover or blur them. Not even Benefit's Porefessional primer that everyone raves so much about. This stuff actually blurred my pores and makes my skin look poreles...read mores. I love how it also kept my oil at bay. It leaves my skin looking matte throughout the day. The only thing I don't like is that it makes my skin look cakey with this on top. Even though this is supposed to be a sort of "translucent" makeup, it whitens my foundation like crazy and in flash photography makes my face look white as a ghost. I prefer using this under my makeup as a primer instead of using it as a finishing powder. This was an impulse buy since Ulta had this as one of their steal on their 21 Days of Beauty sale and I figured since it was half off might as well try it and see. Totally recommend for people with oily skin and huge pores.

Helps diminish pores

This product really does help diminish pores and controls oil. It gives my face a smooth finish. I was hesitant to purchase because of the price, but it's definitely worth it.

Great alternative for setting powder

I use this after I apply my foundation or bb cream and this thing works like a charm, my makeup doesn't slip and slide because it takes the place or powder. I believe it's silicone based so it has a really nice soft feel. It doesn't settle into my pores and look all cakey or dry. And, it has a nice thick sponge that works well.

Cool new product!

Just a heads up....buy this on Mally's website! You can get this in her "Beautiful Skin Prep" kit for around forty dollars and that comes with the primer too! I do wish this product came with a smaller sponge that fit in the compact that way I could bring it with me in my purse. I know she does sell a smaller size with a sponge to put in your purse but I wish all sizes came with that option. I'm n...read moreot quite sure if this product keeps me oil free longer than powder does but I like that I'm not washing myself out by applying powder on top of my makeup all day.

Awesomess in a small package

I was really hesitant on buying this for a long time because of it's high price. However , I discovered on her website you can do a "try mally" beauty deal that comes with this and her face primer for only 35 bucks. I have to say this is one of the best things I ever bought ! I will NEVER AGAIN use any type of powder on my face. It sets makeup without the chalky or weird white casting on the face ...read morethat powders leave behind. I love that it makes your face feel like silk after application and never looks "cakey " . It can be used on any type of foundation and always looks great. I now have my mom and her friend buying this stuff. Say bye bye to powder !

Great for Older Skin

I like this product. You can get rid of shine during the day without having to add colored talc-based powders. It doesn't emphasize fine lines and wrinkles, and even holds up to heat when carried in your purse.

Terrible

I usually love all Mally products, but this was not a good buy. I put this on in the morning after my makeup, and when I checked my face at lunch, my face was white. Will not buy again.

Yowza!

I'm NUTS about this product! As a true-blue makeup junkie, I've tried my share of finishing powders and other finishing products. This one takes the cake.
