Polish strips
These are really fun. I used the floral on each thumb. Too much on every nail. Need to put top coat on so it's shiny. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 9 people said helpful

Review subject
The first time I purchased these I had a hard time getting them to work on my nails. The second time though, I took my time and was really happy with the results. I have tried several patterns since, and loved every one. I don't like the smell of nail polish, so I was happy that these don't smell nearly as bad (but, they do still have a faint smell of nail polish to them). I have small hands/nails, so I do have to alter the size of the nail strips to work with me. It lasted about a week and a half, which is a good length for me (usually polish chips off after a couple days). I like the color/pattern selection. I found them to be a little spendy, so I can't purchase them all the time. But, over all I was happy with this product. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 10 people said helpful

Sorrry, not for me :(
I’ll start off by saying that I wasn’t willing to spend the $10 that these retail for, but I found them at an Ulta sale for $2.50. I heard such great things about them, I was READY to try them! I am super picky about my nails; I guess mainly because I inherited hard, long growing nails so I am spoiled with that genetic blessing. Remember the time and practice it took you to be good at doing a manicure or give up and decide that you would rather just pay to have them done??? I think that it will take just as much time to be good at applying these. Problem One: I have large hands and nails, so none of the ready size nails fit my hands. And remember, I am picky so I want them to fit. You do too probably, so I think there aren’t many people that these will fit perfectly. Problem two: When I applied these to my fingers, there were some places that “stuck together”. I used a pattern (it was a cute denim look), so it was hard to see the imperfections. But my big trouble is that I know the flaws are there and it creeps me out. Remember, I admit to being hard to please in the nail department. I would never be able to use these with a solid color. If I find another deal on them and there are some great patterns available, I will be tempted to try them again. My problems with these Salon Effects are that I found them generally hard to apply to my satisfaction, they didn’t fit my hands, and the regular price is more than I am willing to pay for one manicure. On the other hand;) I thought that many of the patterns available looked great. — 9 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 8 people said helpful

Love These!
I love polishing my nails, but I dont have the patience to let them dry. I tried these in a very sheer color at first and fell in love with how easy they were to apply. Misbehaved was next to try and I love how it looks. I too thought 16 was a strange number to include, but I ended up applying "2 coats" on a few on my nails that are "weak" or that I use a lot and with that I ended up using all the strips. Although it might be a bit pricey, you can always find coupons for at least $1 off, so it makes it worth the money. I think I'm hooked! — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 10 of 12 people said helpful

Very Pricy, Hard to Apply
Costs more than a whole bottle of OPI, and just as long to apply (about 15 Minutes). Great idea but the price per wear is as much as a professional salon manicure. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 7 people said helpful

For special occasions.
I liked them, they are perfect for the holidays and when you want to look extra glam, not for everyday thou. They are a bit expensive and you can save them for several months, don't know why, but they loose the stickiness. I wish they would last longer on the package. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not as good as Avon's
Avon's, which is no longer made, was thinner, and easier to apply. It really was an instant manicure. I used them for my toes, and the widest strip was not wide enough. It was difficult to apply, a lot of rubbing was necessary for it to adhere. Taking them off was pretty hard also. Once again a lot of rubbing with nail polish remover. On my second try, it was better. I got florescent yellow and pink. — 11 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 3 people said helpful

Love them
First set I got lasted over a week on my nails. No problems with the application or anything, but when you first open the packet you're hit with a potent scent of polish, not something I like. I have notice that the pattern ones seem to last longer than the single color ones though. My second issue is how long it takes to actually apply them, it's very time consuming. — 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

not at all worth the price
A friend tried these and said they lasted her over a week, so I could not wait to get them! I read the directions and put them on and filed them down to the right length, and within 30 minutes they were curling up around the edges and came right off. They did not even stay on and are way overpriced. — 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
