Neutrogena Healthy Skin Compact Makeup SPF 55 Reviews

Painful!
While I liked how this foundation looked at first, it starts to sting right after you put it on! Luckily my skin didn't appear to have any visible reaction, but it still felt awful. This may be specific to my sensitive skin, but Neutrogena has a reputation of having products that are safe to use on all skin types. Not this one! It looks okay if you apply it properly, it gets oily looking after a few hours, but it's definitely not worth the discomfort. — 2 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

best foundation I've found so far
my dark circles are impossible to cover but since I found this one, I dont have to wear concealer that doesn't blend or match my skin tone anyway. The color is pretty close to my natural skin color, I just wear some powder over it and it helps match my skin color better. Its thick but silky, you can use your fingers to put it on as concealer if you choose and I love the product. my only complaint is that its a little cheap product wise for the price and I have to continue going out there and buy it over and over again but with such a great product that finally works well with my skin tone, how could I resist — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Wish I had seen the reviews :(
I bought this because I thought it would be a good foundation to take with me to school. I thought it would be good option and would be portable. At least it was portable. The coverage was okay, but it had a certain (ahem) odor. The color matched and didn't oxidize very much. BUT, two weeks later, TWO WEEKS, I hit pan. Do not waste your money. — 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Pretty good.
Great color matching. The case is a little weird. I had to change the sponge A LOT more than normal as it felt like oil was building up on it, which has never happened otherwise. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

NOT a good product
I bought this instead of my Neutrogena liquid makeup that I LOVE and I hated it! It went on and looked like I had makeup on. Didn't blend at all either — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Awful makeup
I bought this neutrogena product for the SPF to wear around my eyes. I don't know about it's SPF capabilites, but I know it accentuated every line, wrinkle, flaw I had. It seemed to disappear from the rest of my face and gravitate wherever my face moved. I constantly had to smooth the makeup out of my lines, which looked worse than ever with this makeup. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful

Neutrogena, NOT Healthy Skin!
I only use mineral makeup, but went out on limb to buy this makeup, when I planned on being outdoors for long periods of time, not an everyday makeup. The makeup comes in a plexi-glass type compact, which I dropped and cracked, so I scooped out the makeup and put it in a small plastic cup with lid, like the kind you get for condiments to-go at food establishments. After 2 days, I went to put the makeup on and noticed that it had stuck to my vanity, I picked it up and noticed what was sticking was melting plastic! The makeup was eating and had ate 3 holes in the plastic cup! As I opened it, I noticed a clear liquid within the makeup, which was the melting plastic, and upon stirring it there were strings of melting plastic within the makeup. And to think, I was putting this stuff on my face!!! I would have never known this stuff eats through plastic if I had not dropped the compact to begin with! I can not believe a product that eats through plastic is being called healthy skin! I have contacted Neutrogena, and all they said was, that they would refund the $13! It's not about the $13, as a Licensed Esthetician, I am furious, that this company is selling a product for your face that has the ability to eat through plastic! I would never buy any product from them again. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 12 people said helpful
