A Superb, Lightweight Primer!

Facial primers and I don't seem too mesh very well. I do love Benefit's "Primed and Poreless" and DHC's "Velvet Coat," but "Smashbox" was heavy and basically a disaster on me. I like NYX Cosmetics, and for $15.00, their "HD Studio Photogenic Primer" was hard to resist. Applause, applause yet again for NYX! This very silky, lightweight liquid has a faint green tint to it. It blends in effortle...read moressly and seamlessly. You don't "feel" anything on your skin. But pores, fine lines, and discolorations are disguised with this matte formula. Powder or liquid foundations apply like a breeze over it and last from morning until late night, keeping you looking fresh and lovely.

Too perfumey......

I had high expectations for this primer since my cousin recommended this. I was surprise to find that this was more of a lotion than a primer. I was used to primers being a clear silky formula and expected this to be the same too but it's not. I thought the fragrance was way too overpowering for me. I didn't like it one bit. The formula goes on white and dries quick once you blend it out. I liked ...read morethat my makeup stayed matte and lasted all day but I would have to return this since the fragrance just totally killed it for me and the formula wasn't as silky as I thought it was going to be.

Tacky - Sticky

In comparison to other primers, this product was tacky, didn't glide on easily and had an elmers glue feeling on my face. very disappointing

Looove this!

This is probably my favorite primer. For my skin, I need a primer that isn't going to make my skin all greasy before I even put foundation on. This primer gets rid of oiliness and dries out the skin - in a good way! It's HD so it is supposed to be good for taking photos or being in certain lighting. That part I think is true too, although I haven't seriously compared it to other primers. I think it is definitely worth the couple extra bucks compared to other cheaper primers.
