Blush At Its Best!
I am a lover of nearly all things Tarte, but I fell hard for this blush when I first tried it in "Dollface." The tender shade left me with a delicate flush of color. Tarte's formula is easy to blend, but then it stays put through long days and heat and humidity. There is no "telltale" powder line of demarcation which seems inevitable with some other blushes. Tarte is a great line of cosmetics.

Longest-lasting blush I've ever used
Like I said, it does live up to its promise. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and they blend like a dream. They're extremely natural looking and they're made from all natural ingredients so it's good for your skin. Another hi-pigmented product from Tarte that delivers and I was sold after trying it on the first time. TARTE AMAZONIAN CLAY 12-HOUR BLUSH
TO start off with, I used to use Blissful the cheek stain by tarte (you can see a review I did of it earlier) I actually really like this blush. I went to Sephora and I wanted a pinky blush since I only had a coral colored blush. I picked out the tarte cheek stain in "dollface" thinking that I would loooveeee it at home. However, once i got home, it looked so violet and unflattering on my skin. It was also really light for some reason if I remembered clearly...which is weird since the tarte cheek stain in blissful can be very pigmented. I returned it the next day and decided to get "Dollface" (yes again) but in Amazonian clay!!!! First of all it was about 15 or 20 dollars cheaper (canada) so yay! ALSO, i LOOOOOOOOOOOVE this blush. I have pale skin and when I put this pink blush on, it gives me that glowy innocent just-pinched cheeks kind of look! The best part about it is that it's not CLOWN pink nor is it too violet and cool. It's like the PERFECT pink. You can also layer it on and it's super pigmented. Usually one swipe of the blush will be enough color for me, so basically it would LAST FOREVERRRRRR... So for any girls who are pale in general, this blush will actually look amazing on you! This is a fantastic blush, because the powder is so fine it blends perfectly into the skin. It doesn't look powdery at all and it truly lasts all day on my skin. When I come home sometimes my foundation has already faded but dollface is still there. As for the color, it's a really nice natural pink, which is not what I was expecting when I bought it, about a year ago. I thought it was going to be more like a bubblegum kind of pink, since the name reminds me of that shade. Instead it is just a healthy touch of light pink to your cheeks, but still lighter than those "natural rosy cheek" blushes, which I am not really a fan of. I LOVE this color! It gives me a very fresh and sweet flush on my asian olive skin. Just use a soft hand when applying. This color is almost universal. I can see how many skin tones would work with this. It's all a matter of how you apply it. I also have Exposed, but prefer this as a more natural blush. I use Exposed during the summer for a more bronzey look. The thing I love the most is that it has Tarte's famous Amazonian Clay so it keeps my cheeks not only perfectly flush but shine free too!!! Beautiful! This is the perfect, everyday, natural blush for me. It is a matte, mid-tone pink. Not to light, not to bright. I'm NC20 and it really helps me look more awake. It's very build-able and easy to blend. It might look chalky when swatched on the back of the hand, but when you use it with a brush and apply it to your face, it blends seamlessly into the skin. The staying power is good as well. Also, love the packaging! I love the compact coordinates with the color of the blush. $25 is a little pricey for a blush, but I feel like it's really worth it. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush (Peaceful)
I recently received a kit that included the Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in the color Peaceful from Tarte. I've been using this for about a month now and it is a nice color that really does last all day long. I do not get any breakouts on my cheeks either. And I have not had to reapply the color during the day or in the evening. I even wore it when was exercising and it didn't wear off. This surprised me because usually if you wear any makeup when you are exercising it can fade off quickly. I also like that the color looks smooth on my cheeks and doesn't appear flaky or caked up on my face. This blush does not contain mineral oil, parabens, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfates or synthetic fragrances. Peaceful is a soft rose color blush that isn't overpowering on your face. If you like a soft, rosy cheek color, you will like Peaceful. You don't have to use much when applying to your face, a little swirl with your blush brush is all you need. They have also made the blush with an embossed picture of the Amazon River and their name Tarte. Sooooooooooo pigmented it's insane!!! I adore these blushes, soooo blendable, buildable, pigmented, and smooth. An excellent blush!
I was recommended the Tarte brand as containing healthy ingredients and not being tested on animals/not containing animal by-products. So when I ran out of my two-year-old blush (finally), I decided to give this a shot. It was priced very reasonably. When I tried it, the first thing I noticed was that I only need to apply a fraction of the amount I used to saturate in my brush with my old blush. A little bit really goes a long way. So far so good. When I applied the blush, it went on so smoothly and evenly. And the color was amazingly rich and true. And talk about staying power! I just wish I got a different color, with a little bit of shimmer instead of a flat color. I got mine in "amused" which is a very pinky color. I didn't imagine it would show up on my face as pink as it did in the package. But I love the quality of this product so much that I'm going to return this color and get a different color. Great quality, very pink
I love the Tarte products. This one really does stay and it glides on and blends well. The only reason I'm not giving it a 10 is because the color is a little too pink for me.
