Good Enough
I have always had a hard time paying for shaving products! They seem like such a waste of money that more often than not I will simply end up using some leftover hair conditioner for when I have to shave my legs. This product, however, allows me to get a nice clean, close shave, without breaking the bank. Other brands such as Skintimate are just WAY too expensive for me to justify the price to myself. I like the fact that I can find this brand at almost any store that I go to. They even sell it at the dollar store, which is a great deal. So I went in and got the Raspberry scent of this brand, and I must say that it was definitely an upgrade from my usual hair conditioner shave. The product came out of the can in a nice, even amount, and the consistency was very rich and creamy. The foam had a very pleasant smell, not too strong or too sweet, but still nice and seemed to linger on my skin after the shower was over. I also liked that it seemed to provide a good barrier between the razor blade and my skin, but didn't prevent me from getting a close shave, either. Because I used this, I avoided getting any nicks or cuts on my legs, and I didn't have any razor burn afterward either. All in all I would say that this is a great product, especially for the price, and that I fully plan to continue using it for all of my shaving needs. Definitely a bargain winner! — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

AMAZING!
I've used Skintimate shave gel for many years (and some of their odd spinoffs), and have also tried eos' shave cream, and Gilette Satin Care, but one day at the store, I saw the Pure Silk Coconut and Oat Flour shaving cream and decided to give it a try, because I was a little tired of using the same scented shaving creams over and over (and let's face it, a lot of the Skintimate scents seem pretty similar). and coconut seemed like a nice change of pace. And I go through shaving cream rather quickly, since I use a generous amount when I shave, so having a bigger can that cost less was appealing. My boyfriend saw me pick it up and raised an eyebrow, saying I could get one of the nicer ones. I'll admit, the Pure Silk packaging isn't very pretty--it's a tad bit utilitarian and not very modern. But I figured the worst that would happen would be that I threw it away. The first time I used it, I looooved it. The scent is nice and smells like real coconut, but isn't overwhelming at all. I really, really like it. In terms of the quality of shave, I think it did just fine compared to other brands (the real difference is how new your razor is, in my opinion. I only get about 4-5 shaves out of each razor before I need to chuck it). It didn't irritate my skin at all. Make sure you shake the can before using--it will still foam if you don't, but it'll be a little liquidy. If you shake it, it'll give you the best foam. Overall, I'd say this is a fantastic product that really is a good value. I'm definitely repurchasing it. When I ran out, I tried one of the other varieties--it's nice also, but the coconut is definitely my favorite. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 5 people said helpful

Pure Silk Shave Cream
I buy my teenage daughter Pure Silk shave creams to use when shaving her legs. We both love the fruit scents and this helps her get a close shave without any nicks or razor burn. It is also creamy and thick for a smooth shave! Plus, they do help keep your legs moisturized as well. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful
