Intense, vibrant and long lasting
I received this in Moray which is a rich olive, gold color and I loved it enough to also purchase this in Lionfish, a bronze color with gold shimmer. These apply really easily. They also blend out nicely, leaving a lovely shimmer on the eyes, or you could apply without blending for a nice, intense color. I love wearing these on the water line because it adds a nice, subtle sparkle to the eyes. This is also nice just in the inner corners of the eyes. These eyeliners truly are long lasting, even when you blend them out. Often times with liners that contain shimmer/sparkle, the color fades more quickly than with regular liners. These actually last longer than most conventional liners. At $20 each, these are pricey for a twist up eyeliner, but a little goes a long way. This is a unique enough product, that it is worth the money. Long lasting!
This Stila liner stick has real staying power. I had a problem applying it without a small noticeable line between the liner and my lashes (not a good look). It also drags my skin when I apply. Pros and Cons
I like Stila's makeup line. Overall the quality and performance are great and worth the money. I bought this eyeliner in Stingray (black). For this eyeliner I have to say I do and I don't like it. Here's the pros and cons on why I feel this way. First the pros: Wonderful and intense colour, long lasting, smudges to soften easily but this must be done quickly. It is waterproof and looks nice throughout the day. Now the cons: As I mentioned this eyeliner has to be smudged to soften quickly. If the eyeliner "sets" any attempt to smudge it will cause it to flake off. Also any mistakes (i.e. a mistake such as leaving a space between liner and lashes so the skin shows) must be done immediately. If you try to apply the eyeliner over top of a line you have already drawn it will "peel" off. Being waterproof it isn't as easily removed as other eyeliners. Use an eyemakeup remover designed for removal of waterproof mascara so you don't have to do any extra rubbing on the eye area. If you like an intense eye with no softening of the line this is an excellent liner for you. Not as great as cream liner but still amazing
I love it, I love nearly everything about it. Lets start with my one and only complaint. The packaging. I could not get the pencil tip to extend at first, and then once I did it jumped out a lot and broke off about 1/4 inch of the pencil. The important stuff? This smudge stick goes on incredibly smooth. There is a tiny bit of glitter in this particular color but you don’t really see it on the eye. On the eye it has a pearl like sheen. The color I got (Blue Ribbon) is unbelievable. It is the perfect blue for me. It is a blue grey. It kinda reminds me of the skies in Seattle. It doesn’t detract from my actual eye color at all like many blue products do. The grey in it also makes it perfect for not looking too flashy at work. Stila claims the smudge stick is waterproof. It made it through a full shower without movement at all. Even after patting my face dry after the shower it stayed on like a champ. B ecause of this I now have a new go-to pencil style eyeliner. Must have product
I never used to wear eye liner but this product has converted me! I find that it goes on easily, lets you smudge it to soften it in (if you do it right away), and it lasts a long time on my. After it sets in it will not budge, but it still washes away easily when you are ready to. I do not heavily line my eyes, but for a little something extra, it is a great eye liner. And, for someone like me who is new to lining my eyes, I think it is very easy to apply. I do wish I could get the point a little sharper…sometimes it seems a little too flat or dull as it comes out, but it is also handy that you do not actually need a sharpener to use it…you just twist the handle. Creamy, long-wearing eyeliner

Liner perfection

Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner
This eyeliner does not stay put, especially near my inner eye. It fades after just an hour or so. Very disappointed that I spent significant money (I normally purchase my products from the drugstore) on a product that doesn't work any better than something that costs much less. Even worse, I'm stuck with 5 different shades, as I purchased a pack of different colors. Great saturation
These liners are much more flattering and beautiful than they seem. Creamy, the line stays put and can be applied lightly or thickly. Great for day or night.
