This mascara is just dry, dry , dry. It takes many coats to get it to show up on the lashes, and it flakes almost as soon as it is applied. It is extremely difficult to remove and the tube seemed to dry up after about 2 weeks. Simple, no smudges
My concern with mascara is flaking and smudging. I used to always end up with black rings under my eyes by the end of the day. This mascara does not do that. Very light application; just okay for me.
The handle on this is a little long and flexible, making it kind of hard to apply. It is definitely not a thickening mascara, as the application is really thin. It doesn't clump much and keeps lashes separate. It's pretty good overall. I just felt like I had to keep dipping the brush back into the tube to get coverage that I'm more used to. It's VERY light with a single application. I use a different Covergirl mascara that I really like-the purple tube one. I am always up for some extra lash length, so I tried this one when it came out. It made my lashes CLUMPY and stick straight. I always ALWAYS curl the heck out of my eyelashes with an eyelash curler and this mascara totally erased any curl my lashes had as soon as I put it on. Covergirl Lashblast Length Water Resistent Mascara
I love this mascara! I've had for over a year now and have never had any problems with it. I use a little bit on my upper lashes and then use it on my lower lashes since I like my lower lashes to be long. It's very easy to apply and lasts all day long. I put it on about 7 o' clock in the morning and at 3:30 in the afternoon after school, it's still intact; and I don't even have to reapply at all during the day! It gives you a nice subtle look, it doesn't look like you're trying too hard.
