Just Not for Me

I love Benefit! I use a lot of their products daily. So although I don't hate this product it's just not for me. I have normal skin I don't have an issue with my pores and prefer a dewy look. I also am not crazy about the texture of this primer. I don't care for the silicone feel. So probably if you have oily skin or enlarged pores you will love this(and I know a lot of ladies who do) but this is ...read morenot a must have for me. In fact I just bought the new Stay Flawless primer and it is a killer amazing must have in my book! Still Benefit still fabulous! I also own That Gal primer that I love. I guess Porefessional isn't for everyone no matter how heavily Benefit continues to market it.

Primed and Poreless, Amazing

I received a deluxe sample of the Pore Professional for review. I actually already own a full size tube (a little goes a long way). I have combination skin so I suffer from those enlarged pores along the sides of my nose that seem to suck in every foundation like a vacuum !! With pore professional , it glides on like no other product I have ever used. I actually look forward to this part of my sk...read morein prepping. Maybe it's the very very light scent (reminds me of sugared tangerines) that lifts my mood or the miraculous way it stays atop my pores and allows my makeup to glide on looking like I am 10 years younger. Either way..the only thing I can say is....IT WORKS. I rated it 8 stars (even though the product is worthy of 10) because of the lid. I'm not a fan of products that make you unscrew the cap and remove. In a hurry ..if I forget to put the top back on, it's a little to pricey to let it dry out.

good cover!

I wasnt sure how this product was going to hide pores and was a bit of a disbeliever. I was impressed with the smooth texture, it glides and blends very easily into skin and actually does a good job at camoflauging. I dont have huge pores, but it worked well for my smaller pores and had a nice, matte finish. Really love the texture and feel like it could work well on any type of skin, as it seems even dry skin would flake with this silky cover

Love it!

This stuff is awesome. The before and after pics you might see are totally legit. I can tell a difference in the appearance of my face right after putting it on, almost like I don't even need foundation afterward, but I put it on for good measure. It really helps against my t-zone getting shiny by afternoon. I give it a 9 just because of the price, because I'm broke. And it has a fragrance that I find to be a little much, but not a deal breaker.

Medium

I loved this so much. At first. It glided on easily and my pores looked a bit smaller, the shade blended well and it was very smooth and matte. After about an hour my pores looked back to normal. If it was JUST for pores I would give it 1 star but it did in fact, keep my matte most of the day so it did something.

Ok

I like this primer, but it isn't any better than any other "good" primer I've tried, including the $6 ELF one. Not worth the price.

Perfection

I was very upset with the primers I have used in the past (MAC and Smashbox). They did nothing to cover my pores. I was so sure that since you can't make your pores smaller it was hopeless. I went to Ulta and tried Smashbox (just to be fair) vs. Napoleon vs. Urban Decay vs. Benefit primers. I did each side of my face a different product to compare, and then eliminate. The results were incredible w...read moreith the Benefit. It superseded all of my expectations and I am so much more confident when I use it. The bottle is adorable and you only need a little bit so being of the smaller packaging it is not a problem. LOVE LOVE LOVE this

Works with Mineral Makeup!

I must admit, I have been cynical about primers in general since I switched to mineral foundation. Most seem to create a surface so smooth, the powder has nothing to adhere to. Not this one! It does indeed create a super-smooth surface, but not so much that powder makeup doesn't stick. While it did create flawless skin, I didn't notice more staying power due to the primer (hence the rating of 7).

I like it but...

it caused me to breakout. It's a nice shade, creamy and helped my makeup stay put, but after 3 days of use around my nose (that's the only place I used it) I got really pimply, large whiteheads. I still believe it's a great product but they can't work for all of us. Do give it a try though cause Benefit does make outstanding products. I use other stuff of theirs without issue.
