Smells horrible
This product was one of the worst-smelling beauty products I have ever purchased. I like Alba's other body lotions, so I was excited to try their bronzing lotion. Unfortunately, it smelled so overpoweringly awful that I ended up throwing it out. I'm not talking about the usual self-tanner fragrance--I use a lot of self-tanners and am totally used to that smell. The horrible odor of this lotion comes from the actual fragrance added to it to cover up the self-tanner smell. I can't even describe how gross it is. I held it up for my husband to smell, and he recoiled in horror. Worse still, it doesn't even work very well. I used it for several days before I tossed it, and I didn't notice any tanning effects (and I am very pale!). Takes a while to build
I like this moisturizer but found that it took a good 5 days to see any kind of brozing results. You definitely have to commit to using it daily. The lotion itself absorbs quickly and is non-greasy, though the smell is a bit potent like any bronzer.
