fantastic!
I'll be honest, I'm one of those people who judge books by their covers... just as I did with TokiDoki, not only is the packaging super cute, but the colors are out of this world. You can put them on to make a bold statement, or just a cute look. The pigment is awesome and stays bright and put all day. No creases, or powder falling all over your cheeks. Tokidoki does it again!
So far every product I have bought from Tokidoki has been a huge success! The packaging is SUPER adorable and there is always a fabulous amount of product in them. This eye shadow is no different. The color is quite buildable from a sheer color to super pigmented. It is also very easy to blend. This is my second favorite eye shadow to Urban Decay's Ammo Box palette. Hit and MIss
This eyeshadow is just ok, and I found there to be a big difference in quality from one shade to the next. Some of the colors (especially the darker ones) don't have a satisfactory amount of pigment, as far as I'm concerned. There was also a lot of glitter fallout applying them. A LOT. Sad Times
I'm a fan of several Tokidoki products, so giving the Cromatico eye shadow a try seemed like a no-brainer. I bought the frog-green shade "Bastardino" because I was looking for a true green for a certain makeup look. The shade is smooth with quite a bit of glitter, but upon swatching it on my skin I realized that we were going to have problems. The eye shadow barely had any pigment, it went on streaky, and was overall disappointing. I used an eyelid primer and packed on this color, still to no avail (but experienced some fall-out). So bright!
If you're looking for an extremely vibrant and pigmented eye shadow, this is most definitely the one for you. Every single color glides on perfectly and is such a rich colour, they are so beautiful. They creased slightly for me without a primer, but if I apply a good primer or base (Nyx jumbo shadow pencils) it stays all day. Also those two products go hand in hand, the shadow pencils make the actual eyeshadow so much more vibrant. So cute
Love the packaging of course and mine came with a little keychain of a girl in a cow suit inexplicably holding a tommy gun. Whatevs. I have the Mozzarella palette which are the colors Mozzarella, Latte, Riposino, and Skull Donut (light champagne, dark champagne, shimmery brown, and a shimmery neon blue.) They are all lovely and stay on very well even without primer. My only complaint is lots of fallout when applying. cute yet sexy!
I first bought it becaus of the packaging and the colors ofcoarse but when i got them I was amazed on how gorgeous the eyshadows are. love the pigmentationvery bold but not exagerated. They blend well and last a long time. Definetly worth your money they are $15 singles but i bought mine in a pack of 6 and payed the price of 3 super great buy for me! Awesome!
I have this in "Bastardino." The packaging for everything tokidoki makes is beyond adorable, but the eyeshadow is my favorite. The color is beautiful, at first application a sheer, glowing wash and with another layer it's deep and beautiful. This is a gorgeous shade for hazel eyes.
