The colors are fabulous! They apply very well, but I would start lightly and blend in since the colors are very rich, you don't want to jump right in and over do it. I Love These Shadows
The HiP shadow line is awesome. I love the matte because I usually have a hard time finding cheaper drug-store brand shadows that are not shimmery/glittery. I ran across this & since I had already tried the metallic & brights, I figured I'd give these a go. They do actually go on matte & have the same staying power as the other finishes. Best shadows ever
I've tried all kinds of eyeshadows, from super cheap all the way to why-would-I-actually-pay-60-dollars-for-a-four-pallete-eyeshadow and this is one of the best eyeshadow lines I've tried. The color is intense even when you are not using a primer, but for those days when you really want your eyes to pop, pair this with Urban Decay's primer potion and it will do the trick very nicely. It's highly pigmented and glides on very smoothly. You don't need much product to achieve a truly stunning look. What a great bright blue
I adore this color called Showy (224) that is such a bright pretty blue. It looks great with my dark brown complexion. I use the dark blue around my lash line and than the lighter color in my crease as a bright smoky eye that I bought after seeing a eyeshadow spread in the March 2011 Allure magazine.
