Nine Stars for NYX Shadows!
NYX knows how to do shadow right. I would put them up against MAC colors and consider them the better value, considering the price. Take their "Trio Eye Shadow," for instance. For just $7.00, these eye-catching palettes are available in nineteen combinations. I love "Lake Moss" for a dark, brooding look (deep purple, navy blue, and moss green) to "Sweet Lagoon," especially fun and useful for the summer months (pearly mint/green, silvery blue, and blue/green). They can be used dry for any look you want to achieve; add want and you've created intense pigment and drama. The formula is crease- and flake-free, long-lasting lasting, and very flattering on women on all complexions. They go on very smoothly and blend well. You can't possibly go wrong with buying one of these palettes (or two or ten!). — 5 days, 17 hours agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Boooo
I found these eyeshadows to be of extremely low quality. They crumbled in the cheap-feeling, flimsy compact, and came with a totally worthless applicator. The colors were very dull. I would never buy these again. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

great value
These cost about $8 for three top-quality high pigmented shadows. I like to use a wet brush to intensify the color and these work well. I have the cherry/pink/light blue trio and it's wonderful. You get a lot of bang for your buck with these. I would rethink some of the color combinations. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful
