NYX Cosmetics Single Eye Shadow Reviews

Spectacular
NYX single shadows are spectacular! They are highly pigmented, apply and blend seamlessly, and wear a long time. I have some dramatic hues ("Frosted Ocean," deep blue, and "Exotic Green," a vivid shimmery green), but the subtle colors are just as awesome. I also love "My Favorite Color," a taupe-beige which serves as a base or mixes well with other shadows. — 1 week, 3 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great Product at a Great Price
I heard good things about the NYX line, and I was very surprised by the quality of these eyeshadows. As an eyeshadow junky, I must say they are comparable to Urban Decay and cost much less. They are highly pigmented, apply evenly, don't smudge, smear or disappear, no creasing, and you don't need a primer. I have stopped buying Urban Decay palettes and individual shadows. They are way to expensive; and I get the same quality from NYX. I highly recommend the NYX line of cosmetics. — 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 8 people said helpful

beautiful!
Very great for the price! These are very pigmented and go on easily. I have lime green and it's a lime-green with golden shimmer in it and it's gorgeous on brown eyes and medium skin. Use primer and you'll be set. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 7 people said helpful

Great find!
I bought "Dallas" on sale for $1.79. Of course you can't try before you buy to make sure the color is right for you, but at this price, what the heck, why not? It applies smoothly and evenly. It is pigmented, looks good, and lasts throughout the day. I am very picky about my colors. I like MAC's colors slightly better and they might wear slightly better, but these are great and so much less expensive. They don't irritate my lids or flake. I don't feel guilty about buying a trendy (weird) color to wear just a few times. They round out my pallette for sure. Go out and buy some. — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 8 people said helpful

excellent
This comes in so many shades that rivals MAC. The pigmentation is great, finely milled, and ranges from matte to high shimmer. The price is unbeatable for its quality. Stock up during BOGO sales when they do have it once a year. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 5 people said helpful

Lovely colors
I love the broad selection of colors that they have. Not only that, but there are diff finishes as well! Just like MAC. They are the cheaper alternative I believe. I have all of the neutral colors, they are so velvety smooth and just gorgeous! Love them all. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Terrific shadows
These eyeshadow are terrific. There are so many colors. They are soft and pigmented. They last a long time with a good primer. You get a lot of product and nyx is often on sale at ulta and cherrycoultrure. I hear that some of the shades can be more chalky, but I haven not run into those. I highly recommend these as well as any nyx eyeshadow palettes. — 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful

creases
compared to Urban Decay and Mac eyeshadows, this creases a lot. the shadows are pigmented and the price is really good for the quality. — 10 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Great colors
The NYX shadows have beautiful bold colors and feel so silky going on. My only issue is that the staying power could be better and the color isn't always true to how it looks on. All in all a great shadow for the price. — 11 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Great Variety of Colors and Nice Pigmentation
Amazing color payoff for the price you pay! They are bigger than MAC eyeshadows, at half the price! They have many many different colors with different finishes. I would definetly use a primer though with these if you want that extra 'umph'! — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
