Bad packaging, decent product
This product is appropriate for those with sensitive skin. It did not irritate my combination skin and felt good and moisturizing. It has a more emollient texture than I prefer, but did not feel greasy or break out my skin. It contains ingredients that are soothing and beneficial to your skin, unfortunatedly the jar packaging compromises this by exposing the antioxidants to air and promoting bacteria growth. Not what I expected
The Clinique rep talked me into getting the three piece starter kit for their redness regimen to help with the redness I kept getting with my sensitive skin. Though it did help with the redness, I started to break out pretty badly about three days into use of this kit. The cream itself is light, but it felt rather heavy on my skin. Awesome for the 3 step routine
I love this cream because it really soothes my inflammation and helps control my redness. I use it after using the Clinique toners as my third step and believe it works. It does smell a bit funny, almost like the protective base they have, which is why I rated it a nine, but it works. I love the thickness of this cream because a little goes a long way so it's an awesome value. Calming
I agree that the packaging is not good for this product, but really like it when my skin is overly irritated. A little goes a long way. I find it especially effective in the winter months when the temperature changes wreak total havoc on my sensitive, rosacea-prone skin. I love this stuff!!
It helps a LOT with the stinging, itching and burning of mild rosacea. It has a cooling and soothing effect if you've recently tried a make up or sunscreen that is irritating your skin. It's almost an instant soothing too! It even heals the small blemish like pustules that pop up sometimes on my cheeks. I put a small amount of cream over them one day (where my skin was especially dry) and they were gone in 30 minutes!! After using this cream for 6 weeks I have no more stubborn dry patches!! Nothing has ever been able to get rid of them, not even Clinique's dramatically different lotion. I found out the reason why is because the dramatically different lotion has oil in it. And folks with rosacea are not supposed to use products with oil in them. I will use this stuff exclusively from here on out! I have oily/combination skin and redness from sun damage. I use this only at night because it does up my oiliness factor a bit. Otherwise, regular use did help. Feels light and cool. Only a small amount is needed. Buy in the smaller jar only. It will lose some minor effectiveness after awhile. Gentle yet effective
I have been really happy with this face cream. I am currently pregnant and being so has aggravated my mild rosacea, making it more pronounced, and has also resulted in new broken capillaries. Oh joy! This cream feels great going on, soaks in well with no stinging sensation. It's light enough to not make me break out. I feel like it has made the redness on my cheeks a bit less noticeable and I haven't been using it very long (about one month.) Love it love it love it!!
I have been fighting roseacea for years. I had a hard time finding the right makeup that wouldn't make my skin burn. After finding this cream, I can wear almost any makeup I want without any discomfort. It really lightens the redness and makes my complexion look almost normal. Definitely willing to spend the extra money to buy this. You don't even have to use alot. One little jar has lasted me nearly 2 months of continuous use, and it's barely gone down. Great product for rosacea or red, irritated skin
I have a lot of broken capillaries and redness in my cheeks and this product really calms it down within minutes of application. It feels very creamy and luxurious and has some great ingredients like caffeine that are vaso constricting to eliminate redness. It's light enough to wear under makeup and absorbs quickly leaving my dry combo/normal skin plump, smooth, and hydrated, yet it doesn't feel shiny or greasy by mid day. My roommate has acne and she tried it and it really calmed down the redness and inflamation on her breakouts.
