I didn't find it to be a very good at exfoliating, but as a body wash it's amazing! It lathers up so much you could if a bath tub with suds with only a small amount. This is more than just a body wash. It cleanses AND exfoliates gently at the same time. It smells and looks like brown sugar glaze. Don't use it with a wash cloth or a bath sponge because you won't feel the beads. The best tool is your hands. Thus, it does not lather too much, and I have to use a quite amount each shower. I love this body wash! The smell is just divine, and it lingers on skin for several hours. It is exfoliating, has nice smooth beads in it. I felt it was rather nourishing as well, my skin feels soft and moisturized after I use it. This is probably the best body wash I've used, and I will keep buying it, and will be recommending it to my friends.
