  Pomegranate Lip & Cheek stain is a good combination of color and texture, making it an ideal product or me. First, the color is a dark berry color, but it's not too purple or too pink. It enhances my natural lip color without looking garish. Many stains are either too hot pink on my lips or too purple-blue (which looks ...like I've been eating blue popsicles), but this one is practically perfect. My other major complaint with lip stains is texture - I hate watery, runny stains that are hard to apply. This one is more of a gel texture, which makes application a snap. It dries a tad bit sticky, so I took off two stars. I like that it doesn't completely dry out my lips like so many stains do. A touch of lip balm corrects the stickiness issue. Overall, this is a product I'll use until it's gone and consider re-purchasing. I haven't tried it on my cheeks yet. March 5, 2009, 12:29 am

  The color is way too purple after it dries. I bought this primarily for a lip stain, but I look really artificial after it dries--purple lips are not flattering on me, apparently. Furthermore, the application mechanism is ridiculous--wastes SOOO much product. For something so expensive, I'd expect Stila to develop a more se...nsible package. I mean, it's not that complicated, is it? I own at least 10 lip/cheek stains and have never encountered this problem. Overall, I just expected more from this June 17, 2009, 6:17 am
