At-home hair color at its best
teshie (396 reviews)During these difficult economic times, this product is an excellent compromise between pricey salon color and lackluster boxed hair dyes. Fekkai's hair color requires more time and money than traditional drugstore colors, but it's worth it. I dyed my brown hair darker brown and loved the dripless formula, the lack of a strong chemical smell, and that my hair came out super shiny and matched the color on the box. Best off all, there wasn't any reddish tone, a problem I've repeatedly encountered in traditional boxed dyes. I wish I could find it in stores so I didn't have to pay for shipping. — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Better than any other kit and good as a salon
radar626 (318 reviews)I just colored my hair with 6W (Cindy - Light Golden Brown) and I LOVE the results. I'm 34 and have been coloring my hair for at least 10 years because I started going grey so early. I can honestly say I have used pretty much every brand of the DIY color and various salon only brands. This color covered my greys and left my hair in amazing condition. It was so soft that my husband couldn't keep from touching it. It was much easier than I thought it would be to use. The smell was much better than almost any other brand I've used. No burning either as some hair kits can do. It's more expensive than any other DIY kits, but it's still much cheaper than a salon and the results are as good as or better. It's been two weeks and my color is still vibrant and my hair is glossy. No peek-through greys either! For me, paying $30.00 is worth the cost. I don't have to color my hair as frequently (because of fading or the color not covering the greys) or use products to compensate for the damage the color did to my hair. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

still iffy
Violaine (6 reviews)i used it for the first time last night...7N - Dark Blonde my hair is still dark brown, but at least there is no red which i would always get when using hair color at home. i loved the dripless formula, however, the gloves ripped before i started..i rather use the tube than the brush, maybe its me...i am a bit disappointed b/c the color is darker than i wanted and that some of my gray did not take at all...but at least my hair matches now....i would try it again just to see...it is cheaper than the salon after all — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
