I paid WAY too much for this iron..hundreds of dollars. I will say that it was truly an amazing appliance, though. My hair was so shiny that it practically sparkled, but then the iron fell into pieces after a couple months, and of course, the manufacturer refused to take it back. The regular FHI is far more durable and lasts for years.
