I've tried most drugstore volumizing mousses, so I can say from experience that this is one of the best! This Mousse adds lots of volume. It is doesn't really have a noticeable perfume -y smell, just apply and style. Does not leave hair sticky at all. For me allows me to easily style my hair and it lasts all day long. This stuff is the bomb-really GREAT styling tool. Gives your hair structure after you wash it so you can do what you want to with it. It has hold and adds body but not too stiff. It does not feel too heavy or make your hair feel heavy-you can still run your hands through it but it has hold when you do that. At last, I've found a product that makes my super-fine, thin hair feel like a million bucks (for me, anyway:)! I'm 57 and have been plagued with oily, stringy hair all my life, and have searched, sampled and tried tons of products (both expensive & inexpensive). I can honestly say this is the BEST PRODUCT I have tried! I've been using it for almost a year now, and I love it just as much as when I first tried it. As far as volume goes, it does work very well...but the thing I hate about this product is the build up...it turned my hair a dirty ash blonde, and it was not, i repeat not shiny at all, my hair looked dead. I alos use the John Frieda Root boosting gel after the mousse or sometimes just alone and both products are amazing.
