Ok in a Pinch
I bought these in a pinch. I had a company event and wanted sort of vintage 40s soft body waves. My hair curls really well with both a curling iron and hot rollers. I blow my hair dry with mousse, heat protectant spray and a round brush. I didn’t expect these to be sooo cheap. The plastic on the rollers is so thin it was impossible to keep my fingers from burning. The deck took forever to heat up and the rollers cooled down so fast they were barely on my head for 10 minutes. I was able to achieve the look I wanted but it lasted less than 2 hours before going flat. Yes, they were inexpensive but I was expecting a bit more quality. I'll be returning this set and purchasing a bit more expensive set. They were ok in a pinch but I wouldn’t want to use them every day. — 5 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Awful
These rollers are awful. They get so hot, you cannot bare to touch the plastic. My fingers are so tender now. Hate these things! — 2 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Nice little set with 3 sizes of rollers. There are only 6 large rollers, it would be nice if there were more larger rollers and less of the very small. It comes with color coded clips for each size; it does take some practice to place the clips so that they don't leave "dents" on the hair. There's no place on the set to store the clips which isn't that big of a deal, but it would be nice. It takes a good 15 minutes for the set to fully heat up so anyone looking for super-fast-heating rollers wouldn't be happy with this set for that alone. There is a color change dot on one of the large rollers to indicate the set is heated. The compact design doesn't take up much space, which is good cause there's no handle so the set isn't easy to carry from one place to the next. I wasn't looking to spend a lot on a set; this was about $20 at Target. I have below the shoulder layered fairly fine hair and these rollers give A LOT of volume! One of my daughters has long very fine hard to curl hair and these give her a good amount of body and wave. The curls/wave are a different look than those done with a curling iron so it's a nice change with the biggest plus being a lot more volume. One thing I really like about these rollers is how shiny and smooth they leave my hair. Zero frizz!!! As with any hot roller set it's a little tricky for hair with lots of layers. Only 8 stars because there's not enough large rollers, it does take long to heat up, and there's no handle for carrying or storage for the clips. However - for the price and how well these rollers work those aren't negative enough to make me regret the purchase. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful
