  Poker Straight

  I absolutely love this flat iron, even though it looks a little too 1990's. I have somewhat frizzy waves, and it leaves my hair poker straight after running it through my hair once. The LCD heat setting is really nice and it heats up quite fast. I only wished it had the closing lock as advertised. Also, a comb attachmen...t at the end (like conair's) would have been nice to smooth my hair before I flat-ironed it. August 7, 2009, 1:14 pm

  Best hair iron I have used!

  I have been straightening my hair since High school so for the past 8 years I have experience with flat irons and thus far is the best Iron I have used and owned works so much better than the Chi at a fraction of the price i have had mine for 2 years now and it still works great!   Pretty Great Straightener!

  I have really thick and curly hair and this straightener works really well, really quickly. I love that you can adjust the temperature so that it works for your hair type. My only issue is that it is a little heavy and when you have as much hair as I do, it gets tiresome. October 21, 2008, 5:36 am

  I like this straightener because it leaves my long hair super soft and shiny. I does have a slight tendency to tug sometimes (which causes breakage-eek!) but that is the only drawback. The plates smooth over my hair and usually straighten without having to go over sections again and again- minimizing damage. If you are look...ing for a quality straightener but you're on a budget, this is a good choice. September 30, 2008, 7:03 am
